A base Model 3 is right in line with a 330i or Q50/60. This is a market filled with people who got their first job out of college and think that their $60k salary goes a lot further than it actually does.

I’m with you - the GTI is just a better all around vehicle and oddly more fun. When you hit $40k in the BMW (which is still the base model with a couple of options), the Golf R is sitting right there. When you’re shopping in the A3/2-series/CLA range, it’s really hard to justify those over the VW offering.

I was shocked at how much I liked my Philadelphia airport Kia Soul. 

I had a rental Kia Soul when my old car got crushed.  I was surprised by how completely okay it was.

I tell ya I drove the entire coastline of Maine in a Kia Soul rental. It was amazing. Before that, someone totaled my Jetta and my rental was a Kia Soul. Life was great with one. I can’t explain it.

The Kia Soul is my all-time favorite cheap rental car.

How do you store it afterward?  Just leave it in the can and in the fridge?  How long does it last?

But, as it is a car, and you know these surfaces will be touched, why not use a finish that doesn’t just attract fingerprints? For example, matte-finish wood looks classy and you don’t leave pawprints everywhere.
