Kia Soul is a fantastic car. The upcoming EV3 is basically the electric equivalent.

no doubt - although since material and assembly quality is significantly worse on more recent rigs an argument can be made that my 2009 is MORE desirable than newer ones. Especially since the previous owner already took care of all the things that WILL fail on a new rig. Cost me $300 to put in a touchscreen

Earlier this year I bought a 2009 Sunseeker 3120DS motorhome with the E450 chassis and V10 motor. On a 2700 mile trip last month from TX through OK, AR and TN it averaged 8.5mpg. People with similar sized rigs with the 2021+ “Godzilla” V8 report getting MAYBE 1 mpg more. Sure that’s >10%, but not nearly enough to make

I’ve been psyched for an EV bus for years, but the more videos of Euro ID Buzzes I see, plus the underwhelming specs and relatively high price of the US version (no way I’d get a white, silver or black one would have to be the $65k version where you can get actually cool colors) makes me appreciate our 2012 Town and

ad mentions the guides were replaced at 100k (these crumbled on my E38 740i at ~125k)

Came to the comments to say this. It’ll probably weigh 1000lbs more than the i3 but now that batteries are cheap and range is 2x the latest i3 that won’t matter to vast majority of drivers. I’ll be holding onto my galvanic gold 2021 i3s (and waiting for used VW ibuzz to hit ~$30k, maybe by 2030?)

I only bought one the the last I3s to come to the US in 2021 due to the $10k in fed and state tax credits + $11k Corporate Partner incentive + 6% discount off MSRP (~$31k out the door vs $55k MSRP). There’s a reason >90% of i3s were leased (basically incentivized by BMW with a huge RV).

Not a place I’d otherwise recommend visiting, but if you ever find yourself near Midland TX put the Petroleum Museum on your must-visit list. Unless they are touring the world, this is the home of every Chaparral race car. You can even sit in a replica 2E (I managed to squeeze in, and nearly broke my leg trying to get

As much as $12k for a sexy, forbidden-fruit-in-the-US-for-so-long, Italian drop top in a nice color SHOULD be a steal, another one that recently sold on BAT (Lot #126752) for about 1/2 that proves it could be a tough sell.

the first car I ever drove around the Nordschleife was a rented 1998 520i with a 5 speed manual.  Shifted very nicely but I really didn’t need the added distraction of having to shift myself while learning the track... with the straight 6's torque an auto does just fine.

Big time CP. He must think it’s an M5. The automatic in these is great and suits the car perfectly. I drove a ‘99 528i (sweet looking and handling sport pack) for ~100k miles (and yeah, did a BUNCH of work on it from VANOS seals to rear suspension bushings to coolant system to numerous brake jobs to many other things

Looks great. Similar mission statement as our i3. Hows the ride comfort? That’s one thing about our ‘21 i3s I’d wish was improved (yes the non-S is a bit better, not much though).

Good move Hyundai, but without plug-in like Pacifica the avg mpg needs to be >40 to compete with Sienna. AWD is only needed by a small % of buyers so FWD only shouldn’t hurt sales much. We’ll keep plugging along with our reliable, comfortable, paid-for, ~25mpg and surprisingly still fresh looking (for being stored

Some of it is personal. I’m falling out of love with the “retro-future” design - especially the front row so much further back than original, of course due to safety. Also relatively low range/high battery degradation and sub-par infotainment system (very few actual buttons, slow system) both of which could be

agreed - I’m cheering for Canoo as well. Actually bought a bunch of stock at $0.26.... I’m a gambling man :)

Awesome. Finally, something new to pine for after the VW iBuzz Microbus fell flat. Bring it Honda!

correct - very clean look just hope you never get bumped.... or it’s basically a whole new tailgate.

Honorable mention to BMW i3.

yeah sure hate on a well-engineered, affordable, practical, relatively efficient yet stylish vehicle.... weirdo

its on a BMW i3
