You have to have a blu ray drive on your PC and some free software, I'll look it up.

I ONLY buy bluray. I rip them to the best possible size for my PS3, for my iTunes library to place it on my iDevices and a version for my NAS. If i'm lazy I can always view it from my PS3's hard drive to I can pull out my disc for the best possible quality.

Yes, the second gen was always jailbreakable. They loaded XBMC on it and other software.

This information or press release came out after that Gizmodo post, so don't get too excited. Actually don't get excited at all.

Oh I'm sure they're going to throttle it but they still grandfathered the unlimited over to unlimited lte/4G.

My sons have dropped my iPad at least 10 times down the stairs. It has a thin cover that is more of a scratch prevention cover then damage prevention. Also, it was thrown down the stairs not really dropped; they do this because they're 2 & 3 and they can't manage to hold something and go down the stairs at the same

Don't read it or go somewhere else, problem solved. I'll never understand why people seem to be forced to read one online site even though they hate what they publish.

No, for those that had the iPad unlimited plan they were allowed to grandfather that into LTE/4G unlimited. For new customers, yes its dead.

I read somewhere that some A5Xs were built as early as January. Also, the fact that preorders were available could add to why there were so much in store stock left.

HOT DAMN, I would love for this to happen. One of the biggest tech companies saying fuck you to exporting jobs and giving them back to Americans. It would never happen unless they had some special loophole where they would get charged 0 taxes to bring that money into the US.

Sooner or later he will be taken out, question is.. WHY THE FUCK hasn't he been taken out yet. I blame the elections.

Wrong!

No he doesn't he quit a while ago and is back to hacking.

Of course I know this, budget phones are bought by low budget electronics consumers.

Yes, new hardware and it most likely handles things differently. The iPhone4S wasn't jailbroken for months, even though the iPhone4 and iPad1 were running the same OS, but it ultimately depends on the exploit and how they found it.

A simple restore fixes that.

It will never be put to rest because of two types, those that just aren't informed enough and those that are just there to smear jailbreaking because they're vanilla iOS fanboys or Android fanboys.

Also to add to this, Musclenerd has already jailbroken it and provided pictures.. I think thats the picture you have up. Ionic is now claiming to have already done a untethered jailbreak for it and is planning to one up MN by releasing video proof.

I would understand if there was actual damage that a software jailbreak could make, but there hasn't been a device to actually become unusable due to jailbreaking. Yes you might have to restore and do it all over again or you might get some instability, but all of this is easy to fix with a restore or tinyumbrella.
