    What's so bad about GFWL?

It's not a very amazing machine. I can't even see the 3D, so to me, it's nothing more than a slightly upgraded DS. Even some people who can see the 3D effect report that it gives them headaches and that they turn it off after a little while.

Before I comment: my power's out, and let me tell ya, using exclusively my phone for Internet SUCKS.

You're not missing anything. Games sell the system. Stupid early adopters like me try it the other way around, and end up disappointed.

A lot of games...sounds like something Nintendo didn't think of when they put the 3DS out.

One of my old history teachers always called the swastika a "disgusting bent cross". I never had the guts to tell her she was wrong :/

I hope this doesn't affect future jailbreaks too much. Comex has found a bunch of awesome exploits in the past. If he plugs all of the holes, we won't be able to jailbreak as easily. :(

Will it be released in the U.S.?

I think the definition of "new" varies from gamer to gamer, but I believe that most gamers' definition of a new game (in the real world at least, as opposed to download services like Steam) is "shrinkwrapped".

    That would be epic.

Even if they did pack a $10 Best Buy coupon in, I still wouldn't want them opening the game. If they don't want that sort of coupon in the game cases, talk to the publisher. Don't open copies of games.

Oh, I figured the EU version wasn't out yet.

I have a quote here from Jim Sterling, from his Jimquisition videos. I don't agree with everything he says but he makes a lot of good points (not just in this one). Basically he supports your position on this, albeit while being vulgar (as usual).

    Nope.

    Thank god for Dolphin.

Online games don't take up that much bandwidth. I doubt Battlefield 3 will even make a dent in your cap.

Isn't there a US law that says that you can't buy a domain with a trademarked/copyrighted name, then try to sell it to the copyright owners for lots of money?

Well, yeah, Valve isn't going out of business any time soon. In fact, they said that if they ever did go out of business, they said that they would unlock the DRM on all of their games.

This has to be the perfect explanation of which games' graphics age well and which don't.
