I think what also would be helpful is to teach boys to not react to every situation with maximum aggression. Men are rewarded and taught to be aggressive, demanding and win at all costs. Also, our culture values male opinions more than a female's. Until our culture changes, sexual assault will be rampant.

All things being equal, if the professor was Black, Mexican or Indian, I doubt there'd be as many people who felt bad for the guy.

I found that really smart people tend to not have street smarts or common sense. That's why so many super successful people were C students. Usually they have street smarts, common sense and social skills.

While I agree it is misuse of school resources, I still don't think it is an offense that warrants termination. The resource in question, the email, is not finite. Also, couldn't the school just discipline him? It seems very questionable to me, and makes me wonder if they are other hidden agendas.

I so agree. My coworker uses this constantly, and it annoys the shit out of me. One day I snapped at him and said "sorry, that I live in the first world, but I can complain about things beyond starvation and clean water."
