Hmm. It's been a few years since I played P4 proper, but as I remember beating your shadow was overcoming your weakness, and maxing social links was building a bond of trust and friendship. The two could help each other, but they are separate things.

The free therapy is great. I wish I could go into the TV World for that alone!

I wonder which is more canon, Golden or Arena. P4 Arena's plot is Protagonist's first trip back to Inaba after leaving, during Golden Week.

Yeahhh, I was devastated. I even looked it up and I DID the right thing. Sort of. I ultimately decided not to throw him in, but at some point I was on the fence about it. And I guess you have to be entirely on the "let's not throw him in" side.

And really, there's only a slim chance you'll get abducted and thrown into a nightmare world by a serial killer and be murdered by your own inner demons. . . but hey, there's also a slim chance you'll be friends with a mute who will invite you into the same nightmare world and give you special powers in order to save

It also helps that you DO real relatable things with the real relatable students, in between all the dungeon crawling and fantasy stuff. I went to school with these people! I went on field trips. I hung out after class. I skipped class to go on a date! I saw movies with my friends. I cooked them meals. We saw

I was just searching Google Images for a P4 picture for my own comment. Then I click back to this tab and your post is staring me right in the face. Damn you!

Ah, I see what you mean. Yes, New Vegas did that a lot better. I enjoyed the emphasis on choice and multiple factions in that game.

There are a lot of fun quests in Fallout 3, the problem is you have to come across them.

Personally, I want the next Fallout game. Now.

Yeah, Cosplay is a Japanese coined word derived from Costume Play.

Well, she was speeding, she was wearing something you needs to take your eyes of the road of, and it doesn't say anywhere she was using it as a GPS device, just that it CAN be used like that.

Holy christ - as if texting and driving wasn't bad enough, now idiots like this are driving with fucking televisions in front of their eyes. Look, when you are in control of two tons of steel and plastic moving at sixty miles an hour, you have ONE FUCKING JOB - not murdering someone else with your two tons of steel

Aaaah, thanks for the information! It's been a couple years since I'd seen the film, but I JUST finished reading about Danny's encounter with 217 in the book, so it was fresh in my mind.

Isn't the room Danny's scared of in The Shining room 217? Is there some sort of inside reference I'm missing in the number change, or was this a genuine mistake? Just trying to make sure I'm not missing something significant here.

It would not require significant centralization, as deserts, while preferable, are not close to being the only place to establish solar-thermal plants. Also STP cannot and should not be the only source of power (its a bad choice for base-load at night, for example), there are many more options, wind, hydro and yes,

I agree but in a nicer sounding way. : )

To be honest, very few of the commentor suggestions have done anything but make me cringe.

I actually agree with you. The list is geared towards removing humans from Trek, whereas Trek was mostly about exploring our humanity. Aliens on Trek are used primarily as an outside viewpoint for us.

I don't know if he was the actual Devil, or just a demon. But I get your point. I would say it's science fiction/fantasy. The big reveal makes it pretty fantasy, but for the most part there's a lot of time travel tropes with Sam and Alex.
