I'm having a mega pity party.

It sounds like you're describing pretty class depression symptoms; how long have you been feeling like this? If it's been more than a month, I'd say time to check in with your doctor. But if it's just this weekend, maybe you just needed the weekend to let yourself feel blue for a bit. I think most people have days

I second the suggestion for a metallic sandal, a silver or pewter. Nude shoes are definitely too boring for this dress.

In most of the families I know where the mom stays home, it's at least in part because she makes less money.

Yeah, I'd take my mom's slightly passive-aggressive but meant in a loving way criticism in a heartbeat over not having her at all. I've never been a huge fan of Mother's day for a whole bunch of reasons, but since she died it just fucking sucks.

I'm sorry. :( I'm also feeling sorry for myself this weekend, for a bunch of entirely different reasons of course. Just thought I'd say hi, see if misery does indeed love company.

Yeah, you might as well try that before you go to the doctor; if it goes away after a few weeks, you'll know it was a cyst. I think I even used a sitz bath, which you can get in any good drug store, and soaked for like 10 minutes at a time a few times a day. Hope it clears up soon!

I also preferred the stretchy sports-bra type nursing bras for the first few weeks; they were very forgiving of size, and in those first several weeks your boobs change size almost hourly. Just nursed? D cup. Fully engorged and the baby slept an extra hour? EEE cup!

I had something called a Bartholin cyst once. Didn't hurt, seemed like an ingrown hair (so much so that I actually dug around with a tweezers to see if I could pluck the hair, but there wasn't any hair in there!), and lasted a while. I finally asked the doctor, just because a bump there isn't exactly normal even

First off, you should be able to find the bra extenders in the bra section of any decent department store, and yes, they will help a lot; they add a good couple of inches and are adjustable depending on which set of hooks you attach them to on your bra.

*squee* Kristen and Maya!! Be still my heart!

"He's so articulate."

Oh. My. God. That is so awesome! And I hope your husband is recovering well!

I'm pretty sure it only works if you have a twirly dress on. Puppy purse might be optional.

Apparently we can assume that Edric Storm was never meant for anything special, otherwise they would hopefully not have written him out of the show.

I was almost Claire. I love that name SO MUCH. I am the youngest in an Irish-Catholic family of all girls, and my sisters all have names that fit that background: Kathleen Mary, Maureen Anne, Regina Marie. Note that they all have a form of Mary in their name as well, like good Catholic girls should.

Stick him with the pointy end.

Why do you hate us?

Damn him.

Yeah, I had a cat that would only eat if I stood right there and kept him company. THAT was annoying.
