Ugh, another basketball truther. What next? You want to tell me Durant’s shot isn’t technically a dunk?

That’s fair. I was really making more of a general comparison of an industry where big money insiders can game the system in a way that screws all the little guys while arguing for decreased regulations. But yeah, derivatives are definitely closer in comparison.
Are you talking about a spa or proctologist?
Yeah, I’m only kidding a little. It really is impressively similar.
In light of DFS’ rock-fast policy position that it doesn’t need to be regulated, “we can’t stop the cheating” is a pretty big admission.
I was wondering the same thing. Interesting read, either way.
Your second paragraph is spot on. He’s very talented and driven, but it would not have worked this well on other teams. Still might have been great, but it’s hard to imagine he would have been this good. As a Pacers fan, we daydream about undoing the Hill/Kawhi trade and putting him with PG on the same team, but even…
Still not fair. Maybe GSW should be required to play a 7 game series against every team in the league, one by one.
I’d suggest he actually has to worry about it more now than before...
Yes on point 2. “I’m not saying you’re gay, just that you’re acting like a gay person. Given that I’m mad and yelling at you, it would be safe to infer that I think acting like a gay person is bad. But no, I am not calling you gay.”
Not really. Without getting into the psych research on “free will” for someone with addiction issues, if JonJon wakes up and doesn’t drink, he’s still an alcoholic.
Pushing your analogy further, what if Steve got cancer from smoking? Do we get to yell at him? What if he smoked a little but not a ton?
Some questions are worse than others though. I actually thought that was reasonable - the question wasn’t whether 35% was bad, it was whether he was upset with the shot selection. Maybe he thinks they’re taking good shots and just not hitting. Or maybe he thinks the shot selection sucks.
Watch the Clippers game - CP3 and Rivers were very physical with him. Some teams do try to rough him up and he’s still effective. Not 14 points in 2 minutes effective, but still pretty damn good.
That’s some good kinja
Fire is the only proper answer.
No way - get a real one, feed it coffee, and the things pays for itself in about 36 hours.
Not that anyone cares, but Stuckey was on the Pacers last year - he’s not a new addition. And Whittington is the 15th man on that roster - there’s little to no chance he ever plays any meaningful minutes.
I’ve gotta assume you’re smart enough to see there’s a spectrum of morals. Maybe not all of our sports and music heroes are good people exactly, but at a bare minimum we can expect them to be above human garbage. Bare minimum you don’t throw people onto piles of guns and make light of it later.
For the time being, all Greg Hardy posts should come with a link to Katie Nolan’s rant (yes I saw it in the related links, but we can’t depend on such things in these times).
Not sure but I actually had a number switch from one friend to another once. Maybe 2006 or so. They didn’t know each other, but it was bizarre for a friend to give me their new number and have it already be in my phone for someone who had just moved.
