I don't know about "most restaurants" but I worked in three different kitchens while in college and got some sort of tip from 2 of them, despite my (low) hourly wage.

I've driven through Union City a few times, am a parent, can't imagine how awful this would be, and yet, a hearty +1 to you. that's funny.
