I remember reading that some of Siri’s ios9 functionality was shifted to also being available offline (or perhaps just processed on-device), but I can’t seem to find any article noting this. Is anyone aware of this being true?

If I have any luck, I’ll post back here, and please do the same! I’m hoping it’s just a delay in the roll-out.
To install Office 2016, I had to uninstall Skype for Business. However, an updated ‘Skype for Business’ download is nowhere to be found, even in O365 sub-menus... any other users experiencing this?
I really like the idea of the app, thanks for sharing! The unfortunate aspect is that even though a politician supports certain issues, his or her party often (strongly) dictates what policies are actually put in place. In other words, the candidate that supports your views most closely isn’t necessarily the candidate…
I’m not sure if I want LastPass to release a similar update, or if I’m concerned about the security implications of this feature. Can someone elaborate if this is safe (assuming my phone doesn’t fall into someone else’s hands... who’s savvy enough to use this).
So pretend like it’s 2014?
Travel. Don’t get me wrong, I travel in budget means with coach seats, grocery store food, and AirBnB/hostels/hotel deals, but I splurge on allowing myself the opportunity to travel as much as I want.
I love my iPhone, but dislike the Apple Watch. Is there any chance Lifehacker may have an upcoming article comparing the current Android Wear options for us iDevice users?
Great, now hurry up with my iOS port!
That movie needs to come out immediately!... If not, I’m going to have to re-read the book again.
I’m not an AT&T expert, but their somewhat recent ‘mobile share value plans’ do include free tethering and data rollover from the prior month.
Thanks for the article, you make a lot of good points. I’ve found that during the days that I don’t want to run, I load up the app ‘Charity Miles’ (no affiliation) and pick a cause to run for. It provides some extra guilt if I quit early during my run goals, and makes me feel more accomplished when I finish.
Unless I’m missing something, TVShow Time does all of this but for free (iOS), and same with ‘FollowShows’ when they release their next update in the near future. Granted, their free nature probably means some of your usage data is sold for ads, but ... trade offs.
I love Pocket and recommend it to everyone. Aside from ‘send to kindle’ functionality, this puts them into basic feature parity with Instapaper by my count, though the pro version is pricier. I wish they’d build out the social link sharing aspect a bit more since it’s a bit clunky (dev- please let me comment back &…
This is perfect for me since I planned on buying a floor mat for my standup desk in the next week. Side question to you standup desk users: does footwear matter much, coinciding with the floor mat?
I agree, but then I saw a documentary and to be honest, I wasn’t as impressed as I thought I would be. What aspects are you hoping to see aside from getting away from the typical western world vacation spots?
Is there a known list of app compatibility issues thus far with iOS9? I’d love to try it but may wait for a few releases and app updates before making the jump if not.
I’m surprised that chalk isn’t part of her setup for climbing?
Thanks, I’ll add this page to resurface on September 30th...
If you tune into Apple’s Beats One right now, the DJ is clearly screwing around and doesn’t know that his ‘test test 1,2,3’ is being broadcast to all users prior to the actual noon launch, haha.
