@Chance Hamlin: According to the IMDB his name is Newman, I think CJ got it wrong. Still probably meant to be All Symbolic 'n Stuff.

@syafiqjabar of Mars: Yes, that's key of course. :)
@grumbel: Thanks very much for this, most helpful! Trying to research this as best I can, but it's kind of a jungle out there. :)
@KingSnorky: Pleased to hear that. Will read up on it, thanks!
@Sumada: Yes, but the problem is that you're not just in the lead gen system if you buy game cash or accept one of the offers—you're pretty much part of the pyramid just by playing, and the devs make money whatever you do. The more players, the more advertisers the devs can pull in; but the "legit" advertisers pay…
Anyone playing Zynga games and other FB casuals really, really needs to read this:
Fun fact: The hacker kid is also the writer-director. From a user review on IMDB (whopping 2.8/10 star average):
I'm sort of hoping the shot in the trailer of people being sucked up through the roof (of the saloon?) is a Prey homage. That would not be a bad thing.
Never watched this show, but I am totally going to start using Mufasa as a verb now.
Let me check my pulse. Yep, still excited.
@ClintonD: Ever seen The Burrowers? Western/critter horror, kind of overlooked. There's The Warrior's Way coming up, and in a couple of years the Dark Tower movies + tv series should seriously beef up this subgenre both in quantity and quality, I hope...
@Vulcan Has No Moon: Except you won't see the color red in a tampon commercial. It's a big no-no.
@99TelepodProblems: Meesa drink yousas milkshake!
@Toastie: Not to mention perfect teeth, and the ridiculous Edward 'do on mr. Whatever Sexypants. (I think the pout and liberal use of product mean he's the dangerous one, though it's hard to tell. I'm counting at least three interchangeable romantic interests.)
@MrGOH: Now I'm wondering why I haven't hearted you before.
@crosis101: I don't care, I'll keep loving the hell out of it regardless. To me, it managed to be an extremely faithful adaptation (almost image by image, minus space squid), yet still vibrant. And I'm generally not a big Zack Snyder fan. Also: PERFECT casting.
@LREKing: Yes!
@bagellord: What, Q wasn't around in the 1870s? I'm sure he's old enough.
@BionicCommando1: Oops, you're right! I must have prequels on the brain.
The pedigree of this, and the promise of "both serious western and serious alien invasion movie", just put my level of excitement up there with Panzer 88. And the wait will be shorter. So yay.
