If you don't mind sharing, what happened with the IRS?

How did you get out of law school debt free with three "extra" years there to boot (6?)? Full-ride scholarships for law school are extremely rare, and all but unheard of after the standard three years.
This needed to be said. Thank you.
I hear you. I'm 35 and respectably working through this list, but not over halfway through it. 40 is the new 30, right? :)
However, by agreeing to be interviewed and photographed by Vanity Fair, Monica is somewhat complicit in the spectacle, no? To me, it seems like opportunism, which is what the Jez article and headline seem to be getting at.

I like your selective highlighting here. Are you saying that Carville was indirectly calling Bill trailer trash?
S/he is talking about public memory specifically.
Thank you. Along those lines, do you remember the Chandra Levy story? When suspicion arose surrounding Condit, my uber-Democrat then-boyfriend went out of his way to defend him, even if we accepted for the sake of argument that he was in some way involved. I was appalled.
Exactly. She is clearly behaving as an opportunist here.
I agree. I'm a Communications Ph.D. and this is not an example of astute rhetorical efficacy. You could argue that she's deploying vernacular to make a point, but I doubt that Ms. Lewinsky is that thoughtful. She's just repeating a trendy Internet typing style that she saw somewhere.
Some part of me, however unrealistic, wants to see Monica distance herself from all of this. Monica, please show some integrity and don't be a crass opportunist.
That's so gross. I wonder if Monica is chomping at the bit to leverage the whole thing into a reality show.
You missed the irony in my statement, unfortunately.
It's nuts. The proposed solution was "open the blinds." I don't mind since I hate fluorescent lights, but the principle is ludicrous.
The problem is systemic, look up the data. Your anecdote does not disprove the facts.
This. Richard Nixon was practically Che Guevara compared to the political landscape today.
She's much more useful for us in the Senate. That being said, HRC is definitely a center-right neoliberal. Although I suppose any Presidential nominee will be. :(
That's fine, I just wish they wouldn't feminize the language so much, or phrase it in a more gender-neutral manner. It starts to get annoying when all of the "don'ts" are things that women do.
Well, that's a matter of taste I suppose.
