Sen. Flowers family and my family are acquainted - my mother grew up in the same municipality and ran in the same social circles. The ladies who were my mother’s friends and acquaintances are confident, educated, intelligent and didn’t take anything from anybody - regardless of who it is. My mother was that way. Sen.

So LVP manipulated Dorit into adopting a dog that she knew she would abandon and give to a kill-shelter instead of returning it to VPDogs all so she could get a new TV show?

I can’t overstate how much this moved me today. And how much we need to ensure she holds that position (or better) for as long as she wants to keep things amplified. A true warrior who simultaneously gives all the fucks for her son/black men, and none, for the patronizing fucks in the room.

It’s a serious commitment but sometimes things don’t work out and the dog is just not a right fit for the family, and sometimes it can take a few days to realize that. Some dogs are just too aggressive by their nature- if you have young kids or other pets it’s best to give the dog back than hope nothing happens in the

To be honest, I don’t even care if it was a setup. Dorit deserved to be shamed on national TV. I have very little sympathy for people who don’t take the responsibility of pet ownership seriously. I don’t buy her story about what happened at all.

Lisa is terrible at naming things! SUR Restaurant means Sexy Unique Restaurant Restaurant. Vanderpups would’ve been BRILLIANT.

I wish I had more stars for you because that’s an EXCELLENT name

But how can they condemn him if that’s not a side of him they experienced?

Teddi and LVP were totally in cahoots on this and Teddi admitted to it somewhere social media (saw it in one the Bravo FB groups I follow). Also, I bet Teddi knew LVP was angling for her LVP Dogs show all along, and is fine with it. I mean, Teddi leveraged LVP and VP Rules airtime to get her brother a job at TomTom.

No, he was saying “I understand that privilege has helped me get where I am, but I *also* worked hard.” I think it would do a lot for the conversation on privilege if both sides acknowledged that one does not negate the presence of the other, though the ratios are rarely equal.

Why isn’t the rescue center called Vanderpups? Marketing fail.

This storyline is so obviously contrived, it is exhausting. However, I will keep watching this season because Dorit’s horrific Gucci outfits and 80s hair-dos bring me joy.

I don’t know why anyone is looking to Michael’s kids for a response. He didn’t molest every child he came into contact with, and the victimization covered in the documentary occurred long before they were born.  The sins of the father shouldn’t be projected onto the children and they are not obligated to answer for

Sounds like he does, actually. He’s just still in the self-defense phase of accepting it, which is something a lot of sheltered white folk have to go through. I’m sure it is true that he worked hard to get where he is, and I appreciate that he acknowledges that his whiteness has played a role as well.

Re: RHBH: They were so heavy-handed with the dog-shelter secondary character that I find it hard to believe anyone there - ESPECIALLY Teddi - didn’t know what the deal was.

Every shelter/rescue I’ve volunteered with had a clause in the adoption paperwork that if it doesn’t work out for any reason, that you bring the animal back to us. Breeders also use this clause. Seems like a legit storyline, insomuch as RHOBH goes, that Dorit is a monster who dumps a dog at a kill shelter instead of

Lisa Rinna is not happy that her namesake (and perhaps now nemesis) Lisa Vanderpump seems to have planted the seeds for a spin-off of her reality TV show Vanderpump Rules in this season of The Real Housewives of Beve..........

Who?

Andrew Garfield and Rita Ora broke up, and he’s moved on
