That's a really good angle I hadn't considered, but somehow I don't see her ideas being particularly popular with many Americans. America has a great history of doubling down on terrible ideas, the cynic in me doesn't expect the future to be much different.

The more important question to ask is does it even matter if she runs/becomes president? And the answer is not really. There's such a cult built up around the Presidency and yet for all that the position is not terribly effective at actually making any changes.
