You forgot to mention that she is the daughter of Vietnam army hero, John McCain.

They 100% could travel to North Korea. North Korea desperately wants to be seen as a legitimate actor, and state visits from U.S. federal politicians is great eye candy towards that end.

No, it didn’t. I don’t know how your racist pissant ass got out of the greys, probably the other racist trolls here today, but this is a naked lie.

Cancel a trip? Reduce funding? Silly... that would make them anti-Semites! /s

God, this is an abysmal take. No wonder the U.S. is reviled abroad for cowboy diplomacy and regime changes that leave nothing but destruction in its wake—people like you actually believe it’s a viable way to conduct foreign policy.

This goes further than banning these women from Israel (which, while true, is not big picture). The real issue here is that they were going to visit Palestine and Israel is specifically trying to make sure anyone sympathetic to Palestine isn’t seeing what is going on there.

Call your reps, people!

Yes. The legal situation is far clearer than a few dishonest “pro-Israel” legal scholars like to claim. Go back to whatever racist cesspit you slithered out of.

What about Iraq? You know, the democracy we created and who is a staunch ally of ours?

Were they our allies when Black Cube attempted to undermine the Iran deal? When Netanyahu put out nonsense claims out there in an attempt to shortcircuit the pact? When it continued to allow squatters to build on Palestinian land? When Netanyahu accepted Boehner’s invitation to speak to Congress without the buy-in

I have no idea who started this “only democracy” bullshit. I’d rather live in Turkey or Egypt than “Jews are the best citizens” Israel.

Let along reps whose only crime is criticism of Israeli policy towards Palestine. Apparently, Israel is not as democratic and transparent as they would have us believe.

Any “democracy” that declares those whose worst crime is criticism of it’s policies are banned from traveling to it, is not ostensibly a democracy.

It is a moral imperative of all Americans to do what they can to get their money out of Israel, and to encourage governments to do the same. With friends in the region like Israel working against American interests and instigating conflicts in the region, who needs enemies?

Considering how much money we’ve given Israel and how many of their local enemies we’ve upended for them, they really have no right to ban any of our politicians for any reason, ever.

Even AIPAC has expressed mild disagreement with this decision. I think Netanyahu may have backed himself into a corner. The far-right demanded this, and would attack him if he didn’t do it, but now he’s struggling with the blowback, which can harm his “I’m the best leader for Israel abroad” line.

If Hoyer and Pelosi were actually concerned and upset, they would cancel the trip and refuse to fund any further foreign aid to Israel — or, at least, greatly reduce the amount of aid.

I just use a 60" 4k monitor and I’m good.  I’m not joking, been using my TVs as monitors for years once they hit 1080 resolutions.  I love it.

I used to have to sit next to one of those so everyone assumed I was in charge of it. I brought a wrapping paper tube and wrote PRINTER ATTITUDE READJUSTMENT TOOL on it and invited people to smack the printer with it.

Goddamn printer and their damn printer drivers that default to “custom size” if they don’t know what to use. LETTER! EVERYTHING’S LETTER!
