“Randomness can help protect new players. When you can point to something, like ‘oh I lost because he got Huffer’ [one of the minions that can spawn off of the Hunter spell Animal Companion]. It feels like you didn’t necessarily lose because you played worse, the truth is you got within four health of losing, and that

Using the same letter format but swapping the colors is just awful. Unless there’s some sort of legal reason for that, that's just going to cause confusion

MGS dialogue/story/plots kinda all occupy that “so bad it’s good” category. There’s some legitimately really interesting stuff that goes on, some really thought-provoking events, but the vast majority of it cranks the absurdity dial up to 11. I wouldn’t have it any other way though, it seems to work for the series.

Yeah it’s nuts, I can barely wrap my head around creating a level that long to do that at all, nevermind actually syncing the whole thing with music,

Losing a Content ID dispute means YouTube applies a strike against your account.

This just reminds me how much I don’t like depth of field, motion blur, and other such things in games. I know it’s supposed to mimic actual vision/perception, but for whatever reason it always tires out my eyes incredibly fast. Hopefully the PC version will have proper options for all that stuff! Glad it exists for

Or that was his actual reaction. It would be impossible to not have *some* reaction, sudden loud jumpscares are going to produce some sort of reaction

Also check out usedpizza’s Kirby Super Star run, or at least the end of it to watch the insanity of controller cam when he’s using the Plasma power.

I feel like if it’s going to be a system that’s only on par with current generation playstation/xbox then they’re setting themselves up for the same issues they’ve had for the past 2 console generations. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Nintendo, but when the systems are incapable of handling the third party titles

What? That is absolutely false. Upper end raiding guilds absolutely dump tons of money at the beginning of expansions and will hit the AH to fill out as many BoEs as possible that they’re not finding in their own raids.

That striped outfit is extremely reminiscent of Pharos in Persona 3, which comes with a whole bunch of implications, very interesting.

Honestly, I like Reggie a lot and I think he’s pretty on-point with this.

This is unfortunate, but true. I wish they weren’t so desperate to get the Wii U on its feet via the VC, because I’d love to buy more VC games for my 3DS. Can’t really blame them though.

They said it was all new, so unlikely. But there’s tons of clock-like objects on the concept art and they were playing Frog’s Theme in their hype trailer. Almost makes me wonder if they somehow lost rights to Chrono along the way.

I mean if you want to make a spin off, that’s cool, but not when there hasn’t been a main entry in the franchise in 5 years

Gorgeous looking game, looking forward to it

Hey guy/gal that mentioned wanting a FF6 remake: I like the way you think

It’s a smart move. This way they ensure the interest is real and not just internet hype by making people actually invest in it. Honestly if this is what it takes to bring back games like this, I’m all for it. The question is whether or not they’ll be successful.

Won’t change a thing until YouTube works on their copyright strike policies and implements any sort of way for people to generate revenue via streaming. The reason people use Twitch is that there’s a ton of things in place for streamers that want to do it full time to do so, YouTube has none of these. To say this

It’s one week. The sky isn’t falling, but I guess it makes for good web traffic or whatever and gets everybody all riled up.
