Even if it's unrealistic, I really like seeing this in games. Makes the world feel a lot more alive when it's crowded

My biggest problem with the game right now is a huge lack of options. Gating characters behind mastery is a bit unfortunate, but no ability to make custom 5 player games is frustrating.

I guess I'm old enough at this point to realize that software of this scale doesn't get rolled out flawlessly, ever. It's just not feasible. On the contrary, these types of problems are much more likely to crop up due to the sheer volume of people. If you have a bug that affects 1-2% of your consumer base, but that

Honestly I think calling the update a "disaster" is a bit silly. Driveclub? Okay, that's a disaster. But the 2.00 firmware is a huge update, it's bound to have some bugs when it hits millions of users. If they don't do anything to fix it, sure, but software rollouts of this scale are almost impossible to release

There's been cases of full DLC being on-disc, but it's really one or two cases over the lifetime of DLC as an idea. Most of the time it's exactly what this is, bits and pieces that were in development that got put on the disc because a) there was space and b) it allows them to reduce download sizes later on.

The title of this article is awful and really not representative of the actual question.

Console exclusivity used to be interesting when we were talking whole IPs. Mario, Sonic, things that defined consoles. Now we're looking at the same games across multiple platforms with different content and that's just absurd.

I hate exclusive content. I'm a PS4 owner so I'm getting everything here, but exclusive content like this continues to keep us one extra step from cross-platform play as a norm.

I really like the Stranger (and the Queen) and was hoping they'd expand on them. There's a ton of room there but they just.. aren't.

I had a commercial for this pop-up on YouTube last night that gave me this exact impression. It was the 'live action trailer' ad. I watched the whole thing out of curiosity, but halfway through my thought was, "This is still going? Why are you dragging this out? You got my laugh, just stop, please".

There's a fine

Exactly! I don't mind reconnecting for the sake of ensuring the system remains available, but if it just dumps you clear out of any multiplayer games (and thus ending the game), that would be quite problematic.

Aaaand they completely gloss over the 1 hour time limit. They show it, so they're not being completely dishonest, but some information as to what happens when that 1 hour is up would be nice to know.

Holy shit that bit with the bird made me cringe

I feel like we have a post about this at least once a year :P

So glad that someone made easy functional DS4 support for PC, definitely my favorite control in recent times.

I saw this also, pretty disgusting. Even on the incredibly unlikely chance that they were trying to play it up by joining these groups as part of some poorly concocted promotional narrative, still awful, and they've likely been a part of them for a long time.

This seems like it's trying way too hard to be edgy for the sake of being edgy, while also looking fairly average for the genre. Sad part is, it'll probably get enough publicity to be 'successful' while remaining overwhelmingly mediocre. Postal and GTA kind of get away with this because it's inherently over the top

As someone that's worked in manufacturing, I can't even possibly fathom how they thought this was a cheaper solution. There is absolutely no way in hell that setting up to host that much extra data to be downloaded by every single person with the collection is more than a second disc.

I'm not trying to be unnecessarily rude, but this seemed like the most obvious thing given the text!

Those Draugr are insanely awesome
