Fair warning that the Anthology version of FF6 is.. pretty awful. Lots of slowdown not present in the original cart, very distorted music, and questionable re-translation. V is good though, I just would look at one of the other available ports for FF6.

Did not expect to see Mallow when I clicked this, very awesome!

I mean, if you only look for things that you don't like, that's what you're going to find. It's pretty easy to find plenty of talent and creativity on the internet if you're not just looking for something to be mad about.

Yet nobody's ever made such a big deal about it until recent times, to the point where perfectly good games are being labeled as outcast garbage because they're not "1080p 60fps", when the majority of people playing them wouldn't even know the difference.

Yeah, a lot of people don't understand the difference between "customizable model" and "premade model". Just because a character wears clothes and is animated, doesn't mean those pieces are interchangeable compared to a character that was designed with that specifically in mind.

Except that when developers do that, the community jumps down their throat for not taking the proper time with it, it happens all the time. It's a lose-lose scenario.

This is an unfortunate, but prime, example of why I can't stand Patricia's articles on this site. Always seems to be some biased personal agenda, that's often worse than what she's 'reporting' on. This isn't the first time I've seen writing that's a bigger cause of a problem than one it's supposedly helping.

I like the three articles before this all excited for this sequel, quickly followed by, "oh this is actually pretty bad", despite having access to it beforehand. Feel like there was a pretty big communication gap here.

I don't think a 74 is a marker of a bad game by any stretch, but a game with flaws. I'm not going to get into a long tangent about review scores, but you didn't touch on what I think was everybody's actual problem with the game.

Neat that both male/female Robin are available. Also should be some good "Marth" vs. Marth fun.

Honestly, if you're enjoying yourself, I'd recommend you keep doing what you're doing. At the risk of being trite, it's that innocent time first starting into MMOs where you have no goals, no attachments, and are free to go about as you please.

As much as I dislike pre-order DLC, they never stated this would be for pre-orders only. Pretty sure people took 'exclusively from Gamestop' and assume that meant forever, not exclusively in terms of pre-orders.

I spent an absurd amount of time with these games as a kid, nice to see a new version coming out. Being able to share custom puzzles online now will probably make this pretty great.

They're about 9500 off with 10 days to go, hope they make it!
