Not having reversed the decision would have killed the xbox one.

They're likely not homophobes (see Capt. Rainbow, and Tingle) more likely loss-of-money-ophobes.

One of the only ps3 games to offer mouse support..and it was good.

From what I understood the new kinect should work better in smaller spaces (like Japanese apartments) but I suppose that's not the case. I think there's a 50/50 chance I'd either enjoy the voice controls or feel incredibly frustrated by them, and without knowing for certain beforhand I wouldn't feel comfortable making

Congrats on the new kid

I have, back before the kinect released they had an Xbox display store thing, frankly it was neat but it wouldn't convince me to buy a kinect, though that may be because I've always been more of ddr guy.

You must have eaten it incorrectly, did you use your mouth?

Could you imagine if the xbox one outsold the Wii U? I think the internet would implode.

I understand the intent of not ditching it, they don't want devs thinking that kinect functionally would only reach part of the install base "if everyone has one, then they'll have to make games for it!" But that doesn't work in real life. So far devs either don't care a whole lot about it, or they haven't come up

Well said. I got no hate for Microsoft, or their games, but I've not been a fan of Microsofts vision for the Xbox One. I do think as long as the division finds its footing they'll narrow their focus back to core gamers, ditch the broad appeal approach, and be back on track to producing something that interests more

Kinect has the same problem as the Wii U game pad, I've never been offered an experience through it that really justifies its existence as more than a novelty, and anything that's neat about it is very meh, meaning it doesn't really leave me wanting more. ps4s touch pad is no game changer either, but its cheap and

Umm, point of fact, Nintendo have been selling China only game systems for 11 years search wiki for the ique player. So yes, they do have just a little over a decade experience in the market. But hey, that doesn't mean that they aren't a little out of touch with reality.

I can't imagine not reading that fine print in the contract. How in the in the hell can someone you hire gain all rights and royalties?

Remember when Sony pitched the idea of a CD based console to Nintendo? Seems like they have a habit of shuning million dollar ideas.

How many years ago did Fable allow gay marriage? The difference being that was an M rated game. I imagine nintendo is kicking themselves (for the millionth time) for opening up this can of worms.

I believe a large part of that loss is the r&d costs of their next console that hopefully won't bleed money, but your point still stands.

Don't hold your breath, they still haven't taken any of the awesome advice I give them when I fill out my club nintendo surveys.

Power has never mattered for handhelds before. Now an aspiring developer can make a great looking game for much cheaper and reach a larger market. And Nintendo's slowly improving relationship with indies isn't helping them, another scene they're out of touch with.

I really am curious to see who makes the most of the China situation.

My first ever game was Chip n Dale rescue rangers on the Famicom, I'll always have a soft spot for ol Nintendo, but man are they dumb, and out of touch.
