No but Europe is historically favours the playstation brand. And I know that with the EA partnership FIFA will help make more europeans buy an xbox, but just look at the media-tainment features, the kinect support for various languages. The xbox 1 is not a system that thinks globally, at least not yet.

Ok, so perhaps he exaggerated a tiny bit. But it's undeniable that the Xbox/360 were consoles designed by an American company, for American people, to catered to American tastes. Every other market was largely an afterthought. And yes, while MS did attempt to make some in roads in Japan those efforts mostly failed…

Well if you are planning on doing it make sure you've got lots of free time. As soon as it became known the wiis were sold I started handing out business cards at demo stations in malls - you'd be surprised how much people with money react to a business card.

I would hardly call it a gimmick no one wants. Many of the huge, triple a publishers seem really excited about second screen play, ea, ubisoft, etc. plus sony seems to be hoping that it's own vita will catch on as the ps4's gamepad, and xbox is so all about smart glass. Nintendo's execution was flawed, not the idea…

I know what you mean, I'll be hunkering down with my gamepad and trying this out for a few hours, a welcome change from Zombies and it looks like you'll be much more reliant on your squad.

I think it makes perfect sense to have the world's greatest detective in this type of game. I mean it's about sneaking around, finding secret rooms, and finding new gadgets to access new zones. Pretty much every other hero has all their abilities at once, it's not like Superman finds a rock that gives him laser…

I was expecting to pay this much anyways. It really does make business sense, it just looks bad on paper. Had this released in say, the summer, and then released now on ps3/xbox, it would have been an easier pill to swallow.

I get that. But there's so little interest from publishers. All the development is going towards the higher powered next gen consoles. Barring some sort of industry crash that makes next gen AAA titles too risky to develop, every big game from here on out will skip the console, which is pretty sad.

The gamecube had the whole weird disc thing. and the really comfortable controller with the weak d pad, no Joystick clicks, and one less l/r button. plus the lunchbox image never really helped.
