Where in Europe does anyone do that ? We in the UK use a decimal point / full-stop / 'period' after the 'whole' digits, and a comma to define to whole digit numbers, a la :-

I agree that nothing can ever pop out, as in beyond the extremities of the screen, but I have seen a few adverts in the cinema that have bits ( words mostly ) that appear to be nearer to the viewer than the actual screen, within the boundaries of the edges. I didn't like them though. They gave me a bit of a headache.

Good advice from blackchair. Before you go down that route though, which some people find a bit scary, just give it a good blast with a blower. In my experience most spots on the filter glass are dust and can be removed, or at least shifted away to the edges, with a good blast from a rocket blower. You can also get
