Change is scary for some people.
Change is scary for some people.
Is this available on Xbox for PC? Articles these days really need to specify! Not the first time I’ve been confused as of late and as Microsoft moves away from being hardware-centric it’s going to be important to note availability.
Glad to see this happening at the start of the new generation instead of many years into it.
Why a soup container? Can I use glass?
I’m kinda surprised people are shocked at this outcome when this the 3rd or 4th game to get the “PC version on its lowest quality settings” treatment. If you have something else to play it on then go for it. If you don’t then this gives you the game just as a much less ideal experience.
*3rd party AAA support you mean. There’s an absolutely immense amount of 3rd party games on the Switch.
You mean Obsidian’s reputation for having to push out games quickly without proper QC due to pressure from their publisher? Come on, you post on Kotaku, you should know better.
Quite a few people understandably not pleased with this representation. The Sombra similarities show the severe lack of creativity and understanding. These companies really need to hire some brown people.
“That $450 gamer chair is overpriced! Buy this $1600 chair instead!”
Yes, I know you can find them cheaper as this is a heavily recycled talking point, but this seems incredibly tone deaf to write as a response to an article that actually talks about how the chair works for them instead of seeing it in a thread where…
Steam is historically very slow to change and improve you just haven’t noticed because you’re looking at 15 years of one client and service. Seems like they’ve been doing better in the past year or so with increased competition so well... they’re right. Epic doing stuff like this is better for everyone.
A Squaresoft-Enix-Eidos and Nintendo team-up for a follow-up to a Nintendo and Ubisoft team-up. Seems legit.
Didn’t we already do this?
Do you have a TV or smart device that supports Miracast for screen mirroring? Miracast is built into Windows 10 and is widely supported across various TVs and media devices. I’m sure Macs have an equivalent but would be Apple TV only.
They went to so many different places you have to pick and choose what to follow or it gets a bit much. I added Vice Motherboard to my feeds and at least that’s fairly slow so I’m not overwhelmed. Also has ex-Kotaku (amongst other things) writer Patrick Klepek as a bonus. Polygon in comparison is a very very busy site…
Have these people not played an AC game? Cutscenes, dialogue, action shots, are all in-engine. Hell, this has been an industry trend for who knows how many years now? FMVs tend to only be at the start of games and at the end and often not even that. When you play the game, and you come across a cutscene, is that not…
Is it really targeted towards kids? Towards a younger skewing audience, sure, but I tend to hear about how it’s teenagers who live their lives on this and not anything of pre-teens. This kid isn’t even a tween! I think this Twitter guy has Minecraft and Fortnite mixed up.
The gameplay and movement seemed a bit janky in the trailer. Themes aside anything particularly compelling about the gameplay? I assume controller is best for this one but that’s no issue for me.
You have to realize that to everyone else what you’re saying is random commentary. No one here knows the history between you two. You have a chip on your shoulder and this is more appropriate for a PM.
“Don’t be robots, but let me regurgitate a bunch of stuff I didn’t look into at all, and you should do the same.”
Shouldn’t be that controversial considering you were typing that in Kotaku articles that say the same thing. Unless you’re bringing up something completely out of context? As Nathan notes none of this is new. In this one the pattern for this behavior is given, too.
