My favorites are both from Woeblers. Their Dusseldorf and their jalapeno yellow.

I take a different approach. I use the entire card at once on my cell phone bill, and then use the cash I didn’t spend to shop with. By using the entire balance in a single transaction, there is nothing left over and I don’t have an extra card to carry around with me.

Amother option is to repurpose them.

If all I want to do is adjust the heat level without changing the rest of flavors, an XXX hot sauce like Dave’s Insanity.

The video showing wine glasses packed in popcorn is a serious hack. Air popped popcorn is both cheap and biodegradable. I’ve read many articles over the year that talk about using it in place of packing peanuts.

At least I’m not the only guy that thinks that there is a place in the kitchen for a hammer and chisel.

Hammer and chisel. When you want to portion out part of a package of frozen ground meat. You’ll never saw thru that package with a serrated blade ever again. Obviously you could thaw it out and then portion it, but that leaves you either re-freezing the rest of the package (not wise) or having to cook it all up.

Better yet - re-purpose the fries. They make an excellent addition to a fritatta or hash.

We have a rule while traveling: no chain restaurants that we can get at home. Fast food while driving is allowed, but only at places we can’t get ordinarily (sorry, no golden arches for us).

Your plasma info is incorrect. In the USA, you can donate plasma twice per 7 days (with 1 recovery day between donations).

Another option - especially if your college has a winter term (my college had a mandatory 4-week short term in January). I once checked out the text book from the library and essentially “rented” it for less than the cost of a soda pop (3-week check out + 1 week’s worth of overdue fines since the checkout wasn’t

I actually do pay the company more. The amount of lost interest is trivial (less than 20 cents a year), so I’m content to have the extra money sit there as a carry forward credit on my bill. I also pay based on a rolling 12 month average - not my largest bill of the year. The extra I pay when usage is low goes toward

I monitor all my bills closely and recalculate the 12 month average each month. And I have enough brains to be sufficiently self-aware to know that if I kept the surplus in cash that it would be wasted on something frivolous rather than being saved for months where the bill was larger than normal. By actually paying

I already do something similiar - most of my bills will allow me to make a payment that is higher than the amount I actually owe. For variable bills - I have as my minimum payment 120% of my 12 month average. Likewise - for my fixed expenses I always pay 120% of the monthly amounth due.

Invest in a conservative set of growth stock mutual funds and live off of capital gains and dividends. Assuming a single winner, one could reasonably expect a monthly pre-tax income of around $2 million (and that includes leaving enough growth behind to cover the cost of inflation) without ever touching the principal.

Seltzer water with a dash or two of bitters makes for a refreshing mocktail.

Right there with you. I have several flavored mustards (sriracha, jalapeno, lavender currently), two German mustards (one hot, one extra hot), and a mixed mustard (when a bottle or jar is nearly empty or if I have too many unused single serve packs in my desk - I add it to the mixed mustard bottle for a never to be

Store brand Gold Bond powder.

A coffee shop I used to go to back in college - their house sandwich dressing was 1 Sam’s Club sized container of sour cream mixed with 1 Sam’s Club sized jar of dijon.
