Seems to be missing key elements from the original, and very different landscape / interiors, but great job nonetheless.

Already ran into more jerks than nice people in there. The loot system is designed to screw people who primarily play PvE as it is. Completely getting rid of respawning bosses will just as likely make people stay even further away from DZ.

Part of the reason why I hate when games say “PVP is how to get the good stuff.” It almost always means you’re expected to play it a lot, especially at endgame. It just makes me feel like the developers had very little faith in PVP being played otherwise, and hurts the ability for all kinds of players to have the same…

Have you checked your intel progress? I’ve had some echos that counted as collected but still appear on the map as if they aren’t.

It’s basically like they one day decided “We’re high as fuck, so let’s just assume everyone who still watches us is too and just air trippy bullshit.”

It’s only real in that it would legitimately hurt and incapacitate someone if done right in an actual fighting situation, hence part of the reason why it’s an excellent finishing move.

Wow. And to think there were people starting to believe that maybe he’s not a total douche. Flipping off a guy who made a game by himself, just because it’s not up to his questionable standards. Though he’ll lose his shit over a Five Nights at Freddy’s game, another mediocre title made by 1 person.

Preordering isn’t all that bad anyway. Unless you’re getting it digitally, there’s always a way out of it. Ordered it from Amazon? You can cancel the order any time up until it’s shipped. Ordered it at a store? Wait for the reviews if you’re having second thoughts - most stores will hold on to the order for a few days…

Articles like these have been the start of many good recent habits for me lately. Starting a game fresh on Hard at minimum, sometimes turning off the music.. Maybe I’ll try this whole “no minimap” business when the updated Fallout 4 Survival mode is out.
