... That just makes it even more ridiculous, in all honesty.

I’m still very skeptical on Sony’s approach myself. You’re probably right about them having a better games lineup off the bat, because the PS2’s first party lineup alone was one of the best ever, and they already have things like GTA 3 - San Andreas and Twisted Metal Black on it. But as far as actually being…
To be fair, that initial list of 104 came after the industry as a whole had a couple months or so of a heads up, and Microsoft did promise the number would be at least doubled “in the coming months after launch.” So yes, while this first addition is really small in comparison, it’s still very possible for them to make…
Agreed. They make it sound like it’s as simple as the devs & publishers just giving the go ahead, but there’s also the added & reworked art for all of the screens that the 360 didn’t have (or had in different resolutions), along with making sure it actually works on the different hardware. More than a couple games…
Yeah, they don’t really count the Games With Gold in these lists though since they’re a given, and added to compatibility on the same day they become free.
That’s how it was in 3 & New Vegas, so if you played those, maybe that’s why?
Yeah, I’ve been hearing the same “not many more updates now” rumors at least once a month now since heists came out. But, if Rockstar’s original word is to be taken, GTA Online is going to be carried over (in some form or another) into future installments as well, so it’s also probably not too far fetched to say…
The only reason I’m disappointed in this list is because last month, we were told Halo Wars, Skate 3, Black Ops 1, and the BioShock series were also going to be out for this in December. While there’s still 2 weeks for that to be true, it did take a full month for this batch to come out, so I’m not holding my breath.
As in, you only need them until they give you their perk, then it’s permanent and they don’t have to stick around? Yes, that’s true for everyone.
Not to mention $25k just to move where your yacht is parked instead of just being able to drive the thing yourself, $1 million just for the same old apartment a lot of people had from the beginning, but now with color swap options and calling that customizing.. not much less for a “mansion” with a garage that’s still…
It’s a shame that the rest of this update finally gives us a lot of features that we’ve been wanting for a long time, except very poorly delivered and very overpriced.
That would be the Dunwich Borers mines. Just keeping the tradition of places named Dunwich being creepy as fuck, since the Dunwich name is a reference to Lovecraft horror. (Dunwich Building in Fallout 3 also had some creepy shit happen in it, hallucinations included.)
Yeah. You were. I tested it myself before it was fixed. I used the .45 bullets to do the glitch, and my inventory went from over 400 bullets to about 230 once I accepted the trade. Tried it again with .32, went from 300 to less than 50 when it was finished, and while doing the glitch correctly.
Those games are still on top (despite their age, in Destiny and GTA’s cases), because they offer both single and multiplayer experiences, both of which were good enough to win their respective developers a boatload of awards. Multiplayer-only games are a niche, and it barely takes any paying attention to see that. The…
No nudity or copyright stuff allowed in the console mods, for better or worse. My guess is there will be a “trainer” mod among the first ones. Some sort of attempt at allowing these versions to have console commands.
Multiplayer only games absolutely do not deserve the same price tag. Do they have fleshed out stories that’ll take hours upon hours to complete? Most of the time, no. Do they have a huge cast of actors providing their voices, movements, and/or likenesses to the game? Unless it’s Elder Scrolls Online or similar,…
Well, there is a State of Emergency 2, though it’s developed and published by different people (not a Rockstar game anymore) and doesn’t really keep the original’s feeling.
The infinite caps glitch wasn’t much of a glitch anyway, at least not the one involving buying & selling bullets. You were still draining the bullets you had, it just wasn’t showing it until after the trade was completed.
Especially considering HL2: Episode Two ends on a “to be continued” cliffhanger. Can’t just do that and then not continue it, especially when it was promised when Episode One was announced.
