Just further proving that they need to put some god damn Dethklok in Rock Band, already!

I can’t be the only person who was incredibly underwhelmed, and actually a little disappointed, when they revealed the animal taming feature. Cool idea, sure, but come on. “You get a badass predatory animal while you use primitive weapons to defeat enemies.” Sound familiar? It should, because that was the exact…
I can only think of three characters in all of Far Cry 4 who were white, broadly speaking. The only American played no role in the story, and was only there for preorder bonus and coop play purposes. There’s no reason to accuse a company of whitewashing when they don’t do it, and there’s zero signs of it in Primal.
Ok, PS2 games with trophies is pretty cool, I’ll give them that. Otherwise, nice to see my skepticism was right. Only giving people one option - and not a very good one at that - is crazy, even by Sony’s standards and history. Especially when, as others said here, the trophies are the only thing separating these from…
They take characteristics from their host.
That’s actually what I was thinking of as solution #2. Increase the difficulty, and/or let go of the overpowered stuff. I’ve been playing on Hard for all of my first playthrough, and have been blissfully unaware of this ability up until seeing this article. Even with good weapons & legendary armor pieces, it’s been…
When there are 3 (count ‘em, 3!) difficulties higher than normal, it’s usually a safe bet that normal is still going to be pretty darn easy to anybody who plays games on a regular basis. The ability to upgrade regular clothes & under armor alone doesn’t even come until a fair amount through the main story (assuming…
So basically, the game is too easy when you decide to play on the second easiest difficulty wearing armor with really high stats? If only there were 2 obvious solutions to this.
That’s what I mean though, PS4’s current “emulation” is downright sloppy, and a very loose use of the word. Either streaming the PS3 games to PS4 through PlayStation Now (paying monthly to play games most people already had on PS3 anyway), or rebuying them when they get the slight upgrade “definitive edition”…
But the biggest challenge with backwards compatibility was always the change in format. PS3 and PS4 discs are the same format, just 3’s are of course made for a weaker system. Hypothetically speaking, couldn’t that just be the same as throwing an old PC game optimized for old specs into a brand new high-end machine?…
Is it not? Microsoft used to say the exact same thing when asked about backwards compatibility. “Impossible” ... “The way the system is made just doesn’t allow for it,” all those sad and hopeless statements to make us think it would never happen. One year and one big firmware update later, bam, there it is.
.. had a PS3 version as well, did it not?
Yeah, there were rules in place that your channel had to have something like 80% of its content revolve around gaming, give or take, while the rest could be something else (podcasts, even cooking shows in some cases). A lot of the reason why this Creative thing exists now is because they saw just how popular those…
No, Twitch was (almost) entirely exclusive to gaming and the occasional podcasts (usually as long as they were also gaming related)
Solution: Go to the console settings, and set it to instant-on. This allows the Xbox to automatically install updates for the system and your installed games without you being around to actively trigger them like you would’ve with the last-gen stuff (and it doesn’t use nearly as much energy to do this as it might…
The original message was a pretty solid reminder, but I feel like this change wasn’t really necessary. I mean, I don’t want any Syndicate spoilers (in case this is foreshadowing what territory it goes into), but it just takes a quick glance at the credits to see genders are covered, and Ubisoft would’ve surely made…
That’s the beauty of it. I don’t think anybody has complained yet, simply because that message is there. This particular change, however, might have something to do with a lot of recent trends and events.
The official Fallout Xbox looked FREAKIN SWEET.
The more they update (as in, slowly kill) the PC version of Payday 2 and make video updates (as in, same shit we heard last gen, different format) for the Xbox One & PS4 players still waiting on much needed patches, the less hyped I get (as in, the less I believe it actually exists) for Overkill’s Walking Dead game.
