In interviews leading up to the game, Molyneux had made ambitious promises—that Fable would let you have children; that the game would span your hero's whole lifetime; that you could knock an acorn off a tree and slowly, over the course of the game, watch it grow into a tree of its own. None of those things happened.

The blocking thing happened the most often with the Anor Londo giants for me. I'd practically be standing under them and do a vertical swing, and even though it looked like I just neutered them, for some reason the game would think I hit their shield and therefore they take no damage.

If you've never played Dark Souls or its spiritual predecessor Demon's Souls, let me fill you in: They're brutal action role-playing games that do not explain a damn thing to you. Imagine Zelda fused with 2nd edition Dungeons and Dragons, with a mean streak six mile wide. You're not going to have your hand held. You

...all of which is real-time but not rendered on the same platform

If you took as much advantage of available PC tech as you possibly can (assuming that was even possible and technology as we know it just came to a dead stop for a few years), you'd wind up with a game that a very small audience can even play, never mind one that has the slightest interest in playing it. Then you've

Ah, just one of many many reasons the Samedi are one of the best gangs in all of Saints Row.

This specific asshole (along with every other yao guai in the game) is only found in the Honest Hearts DLC. So unfortunately, if you finished that before seeing this, then I believe you've lost your chance iirc.

[Spoilers? I guess?] Nope, it's actually described as being very far into the future. Far enough for the events of Dark Souls 1 to just be vague stories to the current characters. There's also time traveling involved in the story, apparently, which is probably where the segments with dragons occur.

And I'm just sitting here, still waiting for Twisted Metal.

Didn't Rocksteady say they weren't doing any more after City, because people were getting excited about that VGA skit where Joker throws away a script for Arkham World? Oh well, the only thing surprising me about this is that it's coming out so soon after Origins. I hope they don't plan on killing Batman games now

Yeah, that's how the videos & such I'm seeing do it. But still, it would be nice to not have to do that since it's already there in the story mode. It was annoying enough just to get the hearse to show up, nevermind the giant target of a blimp lol

That's what I thought. I figured they had done a better job of cracking down on that (even though I feel like all of the vehicles should just be somewhere in the multiplayer by default anyway)..I didn't know there was a player made mission specifically for using that plane though.

Soo, did Rockstar not actually stop the hacks as much as it seemed they did, or am I just the only person who doesn't know where that damn cargo plane is in online?

So what about...Fable, Mass Effect, The Sims, BloodRayne...hell, even Saints Row IV..those all sold especially well among people planning on playing away from the hetero side of things. Then there are the countless games where the lead character's sexuality never comes into play, so why not just use a little

I was thinking the same thing. In fact, he swung in just about any direction possible. Then they ruined it by saying "not for jokes" and most of Trevor's irrelevant-to-story dialog is meant to be funny.

We know.

That's because Taker's not currently in the hall of fame.

This. A lot of the game's scares may have been the usual for games, but that whole doctor section was fantastic. The torture was fairly similar to Condemned's, but overall he was well done.

This one's definitely saying "You came to the wrong neighborhood, motherfucker!"

You know, of all the dreams I've had that were video game related, I don't think I've ever been put in one that I've actually played. (Well, except for one nightmare I had that involved playing Fable II before I had even started it...only made even creepier when the dialog in my dream was actually in the game.) Though
