In light of the tragedy today in Connecticut, there's something strangely… enjoyable(?) about this story. Something about the oddity and comic absurdity of this crime, where no one got hurt and the damages can be fixed relatively easily, is such a stark contrast to the shooting that it actually put me in much better…

This comment maybe was a gimme, but I've noticed that these particular spammers have at least been saying relevant (albeit trite and discussionless)…

I have to give props to Best Buy. They haven't always had a great reputation, but between this and my recent, really positive experience with Geek Squad, I'd like to think that they're really tightening the screws all around.

I can't see many situations where this would be more practical than a phone call for immediate conversations or exchanged voicemails for more stretched out conversations, but it sounds like it's a bit in between the two in terms of its use. The joke was that what I described is a phone call. I was just pointing out the absurdity of "new" features that still fall short of the one we've been able to do for as long as phone have been around.
