My father would never let me pick up a check, but when he and I go out it’s generally hot dogs or a diner, so it’s always a pretty cheap bill. When I go out with my mother I pick up the check. Yea, frozen food tastes pretty gross, and there’s tons of food that’s super fast and easy to toss together (and even if you’re not choosing the healthiest things to make at home they’ll definitely still be better than the frozen crap as long as you don’t dump a pound of salt on it).
