This is a story of how one of the worst days of my life ended up reaffirming my faith in strangers and in the human race in general.

I ship it:

Fly Baby Goose! Fly!

Can I mention how lucky I am to have a man who made me wait at a spot at Glacier National Park for 5 minutes for 4 other people to leave in order to ask me, quietly, to marry him. No videos, no cameras, no audience. I am lucky.

*Slow clap*

That last part was really cathartic. I graduated med school in June, and dealing with anti-vaxxers is absolutely exasperating. Those docs at the end of the video sound like my colleagues and me at clinic ("Vaccinate your god damn kids")

FOR REAL.

IMAGINE BEING THE POOR FUCKER WHO PULLED THE CAPE

This reminds me of the time I saw Lord of the Rings and then I started summoning giant walls of water to expel ring wraiths from Rivendell.

All right, I hate 50 Shades of grey, and I love pissing off my friends who are fans by reminding them how problematic the whole series is, but come on. That's like blaming alcohol or short skirts. He raped her because he's a rapist who was not brought up well and us taking out his issues on defenseless women.

Sometimes Twitter IS perfection.

My wife and I are going to do the prudent thing this Valentine's day and pretend it doesn't exist. We'll just go ahead and love eachother like we normally do and resist the temptation, however appealing it might be, to spend our hard earned money on a useless, bullshit, fraudulent holiday.

I'm all for women exploring their sexuality and effectively communicating with their partners about what they want but this book normalises abuse and it's a really shitty imitation of BDSM. That's my biggest gripe with it. It makes me uncomfortable in ways I don't have words for right now.

That's understandable, and I don't think any criticism of the book has anything to do with women finding their sexual awakening. It's just that BDSM is portrayed so badly in these books that there's no way it can be considered an accurate representation.

White people names.

Mormons?

Again, just for a comparison... How Dornan CAN have chemistry on screen/in pictures... Even where he is playing a serial killer and he's with the detective hunting him down...

I was surprised when they got married. I've been an alt country fan since...well...forever, and it's always been well known that Ryan Adams is a mean drunk who treats people really badly. Amazing musician, but not a decent guy. And Mandy just seems so nice and down-to-earth. I mean, I know that's the image, but I've
