Teenagers who commit violent crimes, like rape and aggravated battery, shouldn’t be kept overnight for the protection of the community? We should just let them run around causing mayhem?

“Would we let a female Republican presidential candidate skate by like this if her husband had a similar history? I strongly doubt it.”

But she has played a huge role in silencing and discrediting his accusers.

I like Elizabeth Warren, but I’m a little wary of the Native American controversy (where she claimed to be Native American but that turned out to be incorrect).

I actually agree that it’s a legitimate line of interrogation for a presidential candidate if their spouse has been accused of felonious crimes. I also think it’s especially relevant in this context, where it is a known fact that Bill Clinton abused his power to have sexual relations with someone far subordinate to

I have no sympathy for you. You’re knowingly engaging in sexual relations with a man who is engaged. You have no respect for yourself, which is really pathetic since you’re in your 50’s. This situation you’re describing would be stupid and infantile for someone in their 20’s. And newsflash, he doesn’t have any respect

That was not a bit of hyperbole, that was completely inaccurate and the express opposite of what “reasonable doubt” means. I go over this in voir dire all the time when I'm trying cases. You are completely misrepresenting the legal standard as if you have the faintest idea what it is. You're spreading misinformation

“Of the 12,300 stops that took place in 2014, over 29 percent involved black drivers even though black people only make up 25 percent of the county.”

You can't be tried in absentia on criminal matters.

I am live chatting with someone right now about this! Great idea, thanks.

Right, but you can certainly have emotional distress as a result of a battery.

I think suing for emotional distress is completely legitimate. I would be emotionally distressed too, if my bodily autonomy and consent were completely disregarded the way this woman's was.

I think suing is completely legitimate. I think your other advice is also good (educating herself about what being a parent to a mixed-race child will entail), but "being an adult" doesn't entail not holding the sperm bank accountable.

This is about CONSENT. The woman consented to a particular sperm donor's sperm being put into her body. Women have an absolute right to choose which man will father their child.
