This is rough. How else is Pacman Jones going to watching game film now?

This is certainly better than Shannon Sharpe's impression of a football analyst

Tony Romo proves once again that he can rack up tons of yards but can't come through for his team when it counts #hotsportstakes

And Oakland sports fans are usually so good-natured and polite too...

Just because abusive behavior by authority figures was normalized back then doesn't make it right

Luckily they were able to save thousands by switching to Geico

That poor guy on the sidelines that has to help block the dude's dick from getting shown on TV. I bet that isn't what he had in mind when he took a job with Nebraska football

I'm more concerned with the fact there were at least 2 current athletic directors on the list (Pat Haden, Barry Alvarez) that I could see. Because I'm sure that won't lead to any kind of conflict of interest or anything

That's a different issue though. You're talking about having a couple stars and a weak supporting cast. That's different than roster size, which has a negligible effect within a game. How many times is that 6th string redshirt freshman defensive end going to even get on the field, let alone positively impact the

How would having more players that aren't as good as the starters help in a significant way? Over the course of a season, maybe it's an advantage if both teams have tons of injury problems, but in a single game, you aren't using that many players, and if you are, it's far from a good thing

Er... the series is tied 1-1

The Wire is unquestionably a great show (the greatest, in my opinion), but the ending wasn't really up to par with the rest of the show. The montage in particular, I never liked those season ending montages, because they took you out of a show that otherwise used no flashbacks, voiceovers, or music that wasn't part

Edit: Beaten to the joke

What exactly did you hate about it? The inconclusiveness?

Something like that, although raw sack rate is obviously a flawed number to use since it doesn't isolate fault for the sack. It would be difficult to do that without having someone physically watching each game and charting which sacks were caused by a poor offensive line vs quarterback holding the ball too long.

Glad to see someone finally not shitting on the ending of Lost. It matched the tone of the show perfectly and didn't insist on holding your hand through the final result. Some of the middle seasons were a little bit muddled, but they stuck the landing
