Atelier series makes me think of Fahey. RIP big guy, glad you’re not around to suffer through this herby AI takeover attempt.
Exactly. Metal doesn’t spontaneously sheer like that. Someone had to be ignoring clear signs of stress for some time.
The fact that routine ‘daily’ inspections missed damage this catastrophic — and by all accounts, for over a week — would mean that *NONE* of the rides in the park are safe. Because their ‘inspections’ aren’t worth shit. And both the owners of the park *AND* the inspection staff need to be brought up on charges of…
“As part of our comprehensive safety protocols, all rides, including Fury 325, undergo daily inspections to ensure their proper functioning and structural integrity.”
Given maintenance teams are supposed to visually inspect the track on coasters every day before giving the goahead to operate and the crack was visibly forming at least a week before it was caught, you've got to wonder what the Hell they were looking at during those track walks.
Or Mario vs Sonic?
00's? We were bitching back when if you wanted to play Final Fantasy you needed a NES, but if you wanted to play Phantasy Star as well you had to buy a Master System.
Yeah, this content sucks. There's a ton of meat left on the bone of the MS/Activision case, but they got their one shitty clickbait soundbyte out of it so back to the bottom of the barrel for this garbage.
Kotaku is becoming a lot more like the bad parts of buzzfeed. None of the groundbreaking journalism but all the listicles and hot takes.
Oh so we’re just doing more of these low effort slide show posts?
As a lifelong Sony player, I can say with absolute certainty that Xbox Game Pass IS better than PS Plus. I WANT MY DAMN DAY ONE RELEASES.
I acknowledge VII’s impact on the series as well as the fact that it was the first game in the series to be experienced by most...but from a story telling perspective it has nothing on the masterpiece that is VI, with VII being a confusing mess in comparison. I’ve played the vast majority of the FF games and VII does…
Criticism is important, but can only be -useful-, once someone plays the actual game (or demo) once released. That’s not been the general trend of the game’s criticism thus far, if you really think about it.
Wayyyy too much credit was given to XIII. That was the only FF game which I got frustrated, quit, and threw the game away out of spite.
This is a very basic take.
VII is not number 1 by any stretch and I loved that game growing up.
XV should be higher than XII and XII-2
X and X-2 should be switched. Hell, X should be in the top 3.
VII should not be higher than VIII or IX--both were better.
“My answer is simple,” he said. “You need to have the best story, you need to have the best graphics, you need to have the best battle system, you need to have a lot of content, you need to have the Chocobos, you need to have Moogles, you need to have great sound, and that makes a Final Fantasy. And if you’re…
Final Fantasy XV is underrated? It’s the most disappointed I’ve ever been in an FF game. I get actively angry thinking about the wasted potential with the story, chraracters and world. The whole way it was released and handled came off like the devs being honestly shocked that people care about those things in a Final…
I played both Bravely and Octopath and they just didn’t hit the same for me. They were good, don’t get me wrong, but something felt like it was lost.
I dunno, I get that FF experiments a lot but I haven’t enjoyed the last 2 single player mainline FF games that have come out and I do not see myself having a good time…
