In most games buying an expansion doesn’t mean you pay full game price and then some every time an expansion comes out.

the base story is actually tame and not that hard, you can explore and grab a ton of powerups before tackling most of the bosses.

I think that’s a load of BS though, I’ve been using EpicStore lately for the main reason that it offers MUCH cheaper regional prices for me, whereas the same game on Steam in MY region would cost the same as it does in any region.

i don’t think it’s a the live service aspect that killed it though, it’s the heavy MTX, it felt like a f2p mobile game that you had to pay full price for.
