I wonder about evaporation though, when you're shooting water into the air, you will lose a lot of it, especially in desert environments. I'd be really curious to see how much new water they have to keep adding into it over the course of days or weeks or months.

As someone who lives in a very drought-stricken city (Perth, Australia) Fountains are not something you really see, ever. There are places that used to have them, i remember them from when i was a kid, but if you go there now they are either all locked down, or totally removed.

The best part is when you watch any of HIS big influence movies (the entire Riddick series) you can SEE the nerdy, D&D elements to it.

There are a couple of episodes where pinky is shown to have crazy mathematics skill among other things but it 'comes and goes'. He is also, by far, the more reasonable of the two.

I've never run into that in Dota. But then the worst i see tends to be people who think they know everything and your a fucking moron. And its often less insulting and more tone.. very condescending or arrogant or nasty that way... or russians.

I can pretty much tell you why too (at least, it seems obvious to me). In MOBAs (i play primarily Dota 2, but i've played LoL and HoN) is that they are competitive/cooperative.

To be fair, i would have stabbed her too in that situation and i'm not even a soulless undead monster (as far as you know).

I like the idea that things are coming more into the underverse, the more metaphysical stuff might be coming in. With the elementals and the 'Alpha Furian' magic (Directors cut of Chronicles has him shockwaving enemies away). I love all that sort of stuff.

Honestly for me thats a good movie. If you leave the movie and go 'yeah, that wasn't bad, i liked it'. Thats a good movie for me. Sure if a few days later you're sitting around thinking and realise things don't make sense, thats not great, but for me being in the moment is what a good movie is.

I want MORE prequel than that. I was just saying to someone recently that Riddick is always being hunted, he's the worst guy in the universe, he's a monster. But in his movies he (rarely) does anything worth the title.

Its like how i'll watch any nic cage movie ever. I have seen all his movies, never have i been disappointed.

The inevitable 'where you left them' answer is usually less helpful but you get there in the end.

For me the movie was "okay" so long as i didn't try and think of it as some big pivotal movie in the series. but "just okay" is disappointing, i totally agree. Without a doubt i do wish there had been more depth to the movie in general instead of it being a straight up 'hey look, aliens' movie.

He also literally punched an alien in the .. face? while saying a cliche one-liner.

Not to mention that they are responsible, from what i understand, for the vast majority of human technological evolution. terraforming and science and machines and technology that allows people to live longer and better.

SO tired of her and every time they hint that she's something special i die a little inside because i know there will be a day when she's super powerful or important or something and suddenly it'll all be about her and i'll have to stop watching this show.
