As an Australian, i was so happy when the Australia team was so badass. And then they proceed to do basically nothing and only exist, seemingly, to be shown up.

But we had to balance all the guuuuuuuys.
I would much prefer a Game of Thrones style series for Pern over a big (even LoTR/Hobbit) style movie.
I love the colour, unlike Amell's which is more of a static colour. Its dark, but its still just green, this one is a red-fade-black and the two-tone colours look amazing.
I'd almost be okay with it just being animated or CGI or something anyway. Would it really be that much better live action?
People were pretty sure SC2 would never happen. Though i highly doubt any more WC games will.
People said the same thing about Starcraft.
I can't imagine WoW as cannon anymore. It used to be okay but its so sprawling and retconning and all that. I just want WC4
I think you win this thread.
Unbreakable and Sixth Sense are about his only good movies. Close, dark and tightly ordered. They have very specific and narrow scope and thats what makes them good. Every movie he has done bigger or different has been terrible. Either through and through, or his signature twist kills it.
"... Bloin out..." :(
I think people are implying that after the 4th season there will be no more avatar, but then people thought that about the last one too.
Take any laptop and plug it into (almost) any TV, and just play it from your laptop - or even desktop - thats what i do with MOST of my media these days.
Honestly Avatar/Korra explored things in a slightly more adult way than most nick shows do, and i think its move to online is probably a blessing and MIGHT just mean we see more Avatar than we might have had it stayed entirely on a network and not online.
Yeah, it was all just a bit much for me.
i don't consider WoW cannon because its such a sprawling mess. The warcraft games - which i would love more of - and Starcraft have always had amazing storytelling.
At least 60% of my enjoyment of blizzard games have been their cutscenes.
I just want to watch that over and over again.
Except in the next movie she's pissed when he goes and gets her out of the supermax because 'i went everywhere, and there was no one who could do a shine job like that, not even for 20 menthol cools" and she was pissed. Because it was basically all a lie.
I was sad about Lone Ranger. It was an okay movie, but really nothing special. It barely covered its costs. It grossed about $260k but it cost around $210k to make.
