I was so worried about that show because i read most of the books and i know it got kinda dark. It did a good job in the first season and i feel like they got threatened with cancellation because the second season was pure madness and then it got canceled anyway.

A lot of it is various networks being unable to take a risk, or.. i suppose being 'greedy'. They see the wildly popular shows (like game of thrones) and want that. They don't want Andromeda, Highlander, Pretender (all huge favs of mine). They want Game of thrones and The Walking Dead.

Thanks, but if you check the dozen or so posts already pointing this out to me you wouldn't have had to have done so. LOTS of people have pointed out my error. I know its a mistake, i just mistyped. I really only needed one person to point it out though.

This. This is really the best thing they could do.

That really terrifies me about the ocean is that 90% of the time you can't see what is below you, and thats what will kill you. Or at least, take a chunk out of your butt.

You're like the 15th person to say this, and so maybe I wasn't totally clear, but i was implying that something EATING a 9ft shark isn't colossal because 9ft sharks are below average in size to begin with.

Should you jump all over people for minor mistakes? No. The amount of people on the internet who love to point out how someone is 'wrong' or negate an argument because of a spelling mistake or grammar error is far too high, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't try to be right.

Pretending to be a time traveler at renfairs would be the best thing ever.

I saw these hoodies with light-bands in the seams and around the hood and i wanted one so badly until i realised i'd never be able to wear it anywhere

For a coward like him.. i can only hope. He's the worst sort of coward too, one that doesn't seem to even have the grace to admit he's a coward.

I'm really disappointed we didn't see much more of THAT.

I finally got around to reading this and its really good, the pacing is a little weird and it jumps around a bit too much and is a bit too vague - i was hoping for more specifics - but all in all it was a great, quick read and free so i can't really complain.

That sense set up real tension for me. Its proof that the formula of 'no one is safe and nothing if sacred' really works. Because as the scene dragged on, i knew in my bones that either one of them could die. They could BOTH die.. She might not shoot him but someone else might, someone else DID shoot her.

Honestly i was waiting for someone to push Slynt off that wall..

You are of course, right, you're a little late though, many people have pointed out my math (not quite so politely in some cases). The 16ft thing is just completely wrong and i don't even know why i typed that. The others were me sort of not knowing the exact meters and then forgetting that .4 meters can be a big deal

I can totally see that in both cases.

I'm not sure how that makes me incorrect? If you read my post it says that adult GW sharks are, on average, 13-17ft long.. How is that any different than what you're saying?

They aren't very dangerous, i don't think i've ever heard of one attacking anyone, They tend to hunt along the bottom of the ocean and attack smaller fish and octopus and stingrays, that sort of thing. They don't seem to be as predatory - on the same level - as things like great whites, tiger and bull sharks.

Yeah they get really huge down here in Australia, seeing 13-16ft Great Whites isn't all that uncommon. But they most often don't actually bother humans, they just cruise around and freak people out for awhile.

Exactly what part of my "information" is wrong? The super rare huge ones are, obviously, super rare and probably can't be confirmed (i believe one was in the 1870s). Yes i made a mistake (as several people have jumped to point out because they are so smart) saying 6.5m was 16ft (its 21.3) but surely one mistake of not
