Hockey only seats 20k and not many people are flying from other cities to see Wednesday night hockey game in Vegas. But I think 1/2 is an underestimate for football — Sunday games with major city opponents will be 75% fans of that team who structured their Vegas weekend around the game.

Just a friendly reminder that we had 33 hearings into Benghazi and millions of dollars spent over several years which turned up nothing. Now they’re circling the wagons to protect foreign intervention into our election (which all intelligence agencies agree happened). Republican hypocrisy knows no bounds.

One really sick part about this whole thing is that this is how A LOT of white people talk when no one else is around. The Trump era has made people think this is OK to not only say while at home, but on national television. People need to be publicly shamed for saying shit like this.

Highly disagree that leggings are more formal than jeans.

Nars Pure Radiant! Never streaky, and the perfect balance of moisture without being too oily. And I say that as a person with olive skin which is typically not very foundation-friendly.

The girls could have worn cargo shorts too and they would have been fine.

Because the rest of us who’ve flown non-rev have put up with this, and are aware that the standards aren’t anywhere near onerous. Back in my day (when we rode in the latest Boeing-model pterodactyls), they were even stricter and required collared shirts, no jeans, etc. They’re really not ridiculous, they’re basic.
And

The amount of manufactured outrage and projection in this article is appaling.

If you look at UA’s rules for pass riders (full disclosure: I am a UA pass rider), cargo shorts are permitted (khaki and bermuda shorts are OK for men and women), while lycra/spandex/form fitting leggings are expressly prohibited. So the gate agent didn’t make an arbitrary call to police one and not the other. It’s

That United Airlines’s policy forcibly sexualizes children’s bodies is especially reprehensible

If you are flying for free as an employee or relative of an employee, it’s reasonable to expect you to adhere to the dress code. I respectfully suggest that these celebrities find another cause to rally behind.

I have been to multiple wedding receptions where Garth Brooks’ “The Dance” was played. A song that is literally and obviously about a painful breakup. But people are like yay, dancing, romantic!

I was perusing The Knot today and they recommended Danzig’s “Mother” as a great mother/son dance, as well as “Mother” by Pink Floyd. It’s as if they just typed the word mother into Spotify without actually listening to them.

Also- Every Breath You Take.

I’m convinced that a large percentage of the population has poor listening comprehension.

You admit right off the bat that you are making a specious assumption. There isn’t any men’s revenue (or women’s revenue). There are funds raised by USA Hockey through registration fees, and sponsorships that are donated to USA Hockey — which is responsible for fielding both amateur Olympic teams. The men are not

Then this is poorly written because it definitely comes across as though you think there should be supplemental discipline for a “routine,” “bad luck” slash. And I can’t even count the number of times I’ve been cup checked in my career. It happens all the time. One guy fell down and you got it on video and had

Ottawa captain Erik Karlsson said it was an unfortunate play, but a play that happens all the time. This one just went bad.

Eddie Shore! Old-time hockey! Casual misogyny!

Any chance you spot the irony in complaining about someone embellishing something while using phrases like “he acted like a nuclear bomb struck his face.” Or complaining about someone whining “like a little girl” while typing out 5 full paragraphs on a comment section?
