No it doesn’t.
No it doesn’t.
Yes, you fucking jackass. That’s EXACTLY what I’m saying.
In case you haven’t seen it, Ross Matthews has the world’s best Lady Gaga story from RPDR:
You’re a big hockey guy? Or you’re a big NHL guy? Your comment suggests the latter.
I don’t consider this whining. They are taking action about what they perceive to be an unfair distribution of money within the hockey industry. They know that there is a risk that they will all lose their hockey jobs so in that sense they are taking ownership of their income potential.
What’s not mentioned in the post is that the tournament they are going to boycott is in the US, in Plymouth, Michigan. I’m particularly happy that they’re threatening to boycott a tournament in the US, because that will, hopefully, provide sufficient embarrassment to USAH.
Not a fan of the Sestito hit.
Umm, players aren’t obligated to fight, they choose to because not fighting would actually make it worse. Imagine Malkin refused to fight Wheeler. Then he’s getting cheap-shotted for the rest of the game. It’s in Malkin’s interest to get it over with, even if his original hit on Wheeler was completely clean.
This isn’t a blind side hit. It’s incomparable. He sees him coming and, without giving the hitter enough time to react, pull up, change course, or do anything, turns his back to the player. The onus is absolutely on the hitter to deliver a proper check. I’m not arguing that. Even if Enstrom doesn’t turn, it still may…
Anyone with half of a mind knew Sestito was going to make that hit. And yeah, it’s a shitty hit, but Enstrom shows him his numbers two feet from the boards. And no, Sestito didn’t have time to pull up after that.
That’s a miserable hit from Sestito. But Enstrom sees him coming and turns his back. NHL guys do that so often. He can brace himself and take the hit in the shoulder if he was smart, but instead he does some crappy move to turn his back at the last second and put himself in a dangerous position.
You completely ignored that Byfuglien concussed Schultz last time they played and that Lowry broke Maatta’s hand....
Background: During the Feb.16th game Byfuglien hit Schultz from behind and forced him out of the game with a concussion. Maatta also suffered a broken hand during the game. This led to the questionable hit by Malkin on Wheeler as a form of retribution. It’s not like Malkin just took a run at Wheeler for no reason.
.Are you talking about advance parole? Yes, that can help some people with DACA so that they now have a legal entry to the US. But you can’t do shit with that unless you marry a US citizen. There’s no other perk to DACA other than work authorization, SSN, advance parole, and discretion from being targeted by ICE.
It’s important because by falsely stating that “DACA gives citizenship”, you’re perpetuating the dumb argument made about how lazy these DACA kids are for not working hard enough for citizenship. Or that other undocumented immigrants aren’t doing enough to get citizenship when 99% of the time THERE IS NO PATHWAY.
It’s quite a distinction and a glaring inaccuracy. If Jezebel is going to report on news then they have a responsibility to report the news accurately. This is how misinformation gets spread which is a problem for a lot of us but especially for immigrants where there are so many people willing to exploit their lack…
DACA is NOT a path to citizenship! It’s just temporary relief from deportation and work authorization.
Typical league favoritism. Clearly too many penguins on the ice and the refs don’t make a call. Bullshit.
