We need to pull some sort of “TNG” time jump forward and get out of this “era” to start to tell some new stories. Give us a new setting, new stakes, new concepts. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

People want the wild west fantasy, and R*’s just bad at providing that. Do something like give the player a full on town to customize, have them become land owners, cattle barons. Let us go prospecting for gold, maybe do something with Mexico, given they already put in the effort remaking the landscape from 1, yet…

I’m so glad to hear Hayden is open to incorporating what the animated shows have done. The Clone Wars did so much to flesh out Anakin as a character, and consistently hinted at the potential for darkness inside of him.

Yes. I thought this was a fine episode but it feels truly silly to invent a new traumatic past when there’s so much space to explore trauma that we the viewer have watched Picard go through!

Well of course you are right ,but the writers of this mess don’t know any of that.Not only do they not know the history of the character ,they are bad writers.

Is it me or does it seem this season they went out of their way to save money? I mean if you look at all the episodes so far how much SciFi is actually in it? They went back in time so they can just film in the city, keep using same sets over and over again (picards home for example)

This is my favorite show when it’s airing ... I’m glad it isn’t streaming so I have a chance to savor and anticipate each episode.
