Yeah but we're having our cake and eating it too in this regard. In case you have forgotten, we're planning on procuring over 2,400 F-35's, with a projected unit price of $85 million a pop (for the A varient at the very least) Which is only $5 million more than a Super Hornet.

That's the most ridiculous scenario I've ever read.

I don't disagree with you per se, but being a parent that quite frequently fly's long haul flights with my kids, it is absolutely impossible to have a small child sit still for 10 hours.

I'm not a child, so I think I can safely say "yes" without you trying to fight me.

Wow, you really showed that kid you're tougher than him.

People actually clip their fingernails and toenails at their seat! That's repulsive. Were you so busy before coming to the airport that you couldn't spend a few minutes doing this at home? If you're on a long-haul overnight flight, of course you want to look presentable when you arrive, but go to the lavatory to clip

I bet you're a blast at parties.

Almost 30 years later and that theme song still gives me chills.

Spoken like a true communist police state loving hypocrite. Are you a cop? Wish you were? Have fantasies of kicking in doors and getting your man?

Your comment only proves one thing; you're a fascist.

I can't believe I'm saying it, because they all certainly deserved tickets, but with the road all to themselves, who

I feel like ya'll aren't grasping the magnitude of this proposition. This car will (likely) be one of the fastest road legal production cars you can buy. There's the LaFerrari, P1, 918, probably the 650S, maybe the 458 Special, GTR Nismo, and that's about it. Hell even the Nismo cost nearly twice as much. All for $5k

I'll go on to say that people complaining about the torque-converter conventional automatic in the corvette are also silly. Automated manuals have come a long way with dual clutch technology but still, yet only a few really get the low-speed driving dynamics correctly because it's a monumental development and testing

I love this. Every time I hear someone complain about American technology and that the Europeans are so far ahead I want to smack them. I love Jeremy Clarkson but I'd rip him a new one on live TV for those silly complaints.

LS/LT engines are still around because they are fantastic. Complaining about pushrods and

I used to know a guy with a white T-Type. No one believed it was a factory turbo car because they thought only black Grand Nationals got the fun motor.

Of all the wonderful pics of Turbo Trans Ams out there, you really needed to pick one that made it look like it came out of the trailer park at the end of the dirt road?

"....nearly twice the power output as the regular C4 Vette"?

I'd have placed the Turbo T/A above the GN, due to being much more rare, being able to (at least better) go around corners, and having brakes that actually stopped the car. I love them both, though.

That was such a thorough answer. Thank you for taking the time to explain that to me. I guess I could have looked it up, but I doubt I would have learned as much.

Meh. They should race them in an actual sports car series and not a silhouette tube frame series.

Oddly enough, that looks like an air lid from a 4th gen F-body. Nothing like sourcing parts that exist instead of spending money on making it!

If the AC breaks you have 30 seconds to get out or you will die.
