Ideas like these are all the rage all around Europe these days. The EU (and thus the EFTA) has committed to reducing passenger traffic by car and seem to think that everybody can just take a bus when ever they feel like going somewhere. They all seem to forget that our society has been based on the liberty of

Typically, an abnormally high gain for a CAI is due in part to the change in airflow (not the volume or mass, but the different pressure and how it flows) affecting the accuracy of the mass air sensor. It will read less air than is actually being ingested, and accordingly runs a leaner A/F ratio(under open loop)

Putting environmental impacts of trucks aside. How much more efficient could Europe be if they had more trucks? Less trips, bigger loads hauled, heavier equipment pulled.

I believe you are insulting your own intelligence. Just because the transmission has a torque converter does not absolutely and automatically mean that it is inferior to DCT. Yes, I understand that DCT's are the trend in the supercar world, but GM seems to still be doing fine with a pushrod engine even though

Mr. Juechter, Ian Callum and many designers admire the low hood on the new Corvette, made possible by its compact engine. Why do you think European automakers have abandoned pushrod engines, when the Corvette (and other cars) have proven that they are more compact and just as powerful, efficient, and competitive in

I like EV racing because it take syou back to the era when it wasn't a spectacle but a competition of competing technologies. A lot of advancements came about through racing (supercharging for instance) and I think a series of EV formulas where everything wasn't prescribed. And everything else is your business, I

Well it's never required.

For every truck you see on the freeway that is a trailer-queen, there are 1000 used in the oil/gas, mining, and construction industries that are actually used for work. My company alone buys THOUSANDS of F150s ever year. People that make these anti-truck comments live in urban areas and have limited world views.

Between my coworkers and my customers, I know hundreds of F150s that get used for actual, real-life, work. One customer alone has more fleet F150s than any of you have friends that own trucks. I love urban, white-collar, 20 year olds that have never gotten their hands dirty complain about trucks when they've never

The anti-kid position in life is so diluted. Your parents chose to have kids, you too will likely choose to have kids. If no one had kids this conversation wouldn't be taking place. Kids have just as much place in the world as you so stop the immature and arrogant act by expecting the world to revolve around your

Yep, my girlfriend is from French Normandie and some regions there are similar. They still have BX's, plenty of Xantia's, ZX's, etc., which we barely see anymore.

The flights were short, and the craft was largely uncontrollable. It's possible the Monoplane could have attempted longer flights, but it's unlikely they would have been sustainable or controllable, which is precisely what the Wright brothers managed to do.

I wasn't saying that you can't get them with a stick, it just seems like every time I go looking for a GM product, it has an automatic. Obviously this isn't the case but it seems like it's really common.

THEY'RE NOT ALL IROCS, call it a fucking thirdgen. there were atleast 3options for camaros every year from 82-92. and there wasn't even an iroc until 87. i CANT FUCKING STAND IT when people call non iroc cars irocs

You missed my point.

Ever hear of a Dodge Omni GLH? Educate yourself.

This is why...

Dangit guys, I'm hunting down good 3rd gens. I don't want a run on them like on the E30. SHHHH!!! Go buy fox bodies everyone. Much better car. Scouts honor.

I, for one, am glad that the IROC Camaro made the list. IMO, it's kind of an unsung hero of affordable performance. There are a lot of people that shit on cars from the 80s. I somewhat agree that styling in the 80s wasn't stellar but the IROC is certainly better than the awkward wedge that came after it.
