you sound like an asshole

It is safer to lane split. When you travel slower than cars, you have less control over what is going to run into you. When you are moving faster, you are coming up on all of the objects that could potentially hit you and thus see them.
Secondly, being confined to a lane presents you with no avenues of escape if

I think you got it backwards man. Lane splitting is safer. If you are confined to the space between cars then you have no avenue of escape if things go sour.

As a non motorcyclist, I approve of this whole heartedly. I love lane splitters, less traffic for everyone.
I always make sure to give them some extra room to account for the possibility of the guy next to me being a D bag that tries to block them.

Nah. Enter a turn at ~45 mph and pull the E brake.

It should look just like the gif.

I guess you didn't read your own link, that law is based upon opinion. Do you know what "quantifiable" means? Go look it up. There is no science behind defining any kind of driving as "reckless".
Your problem is that you actually believe that the law means something in terms of solid, mathematically/scientifically

Now playing

If you show up with legit 300 hp you'll be laughed at.

and now I remember reading other nonsense from you on other posts. How in the hell did you get to be such an emotional wreck? Afraid of everything, emotional response to everything.

You are advocating for a response disproportional to the problem, that is ipso facto elevating the lives of drag race spectators above the lives of the other 30,000 people that die in crashes unrelated to drag racing.

You calling a drag race reckless is an opinion. The word is not anything that can be quantified.

No troll. Just a man who has lived life and ventured outside of my house despite the risks (to include living on three continents and serving in the Marines).
Cars are like firearms, and in the Marine Corps you learn that there is no such thing as an accident with a firearm. The word accident implies that what happened

You're making an emotional argument. Two people died in a car crash. Do you know how many people die in car related accidents every year? Over 30,000.

People have died because of meteorites but sane people don't have an emotional meltdown over rare occurrences.

Unlike you, I've compiled the statistics on street racing

Then you should be embarrassed to have said something so ridiculously ignorant that I'd confuse you with a gamer.
I'm an active drag racer and time attack driver. I have driven on the street many times with MT ET drags, my street tire is an ET radial. My drag car on any kind of street tire is suicidal. You clearly have

Sounds great. Kim Jong approves. Say, what should we do about the other 30,000 deaths on the road? You know, the other 99.9% that are not street racing related. Should we crush the offenders or execute them?
Maybe we should execute their family members?

Just some brainstorming. I like where your head is at though. I

I take it your experience with cars starts and ends with Grand Turismo?

Uh? Everyone? Maybe if you got out of your house and did some things besides play video games (yes, I know, risky) you'd learn a little about the world.

If you think street racing is the most insane thing a person can participate in, you must not get out much.

I don't know where that kid got his numbers but it's not that expensive to make a car NHRA compliant. Most people that street race (me included) are already basically NHRA legal because we like to run at tracks too (when they are open, which is rare).
There's essentially no difference between this accident and many

Do me a favor and compile some stats on causes for fatal accidents on the United States. Tell me where street racing ranks, and then let me know how much effort the men in costumes should put forth to prevent it.

why not just ban all cars? That would have prevented these two deaths and *also* the other 30,000+ deaths having to do with cars that were not street racing related.
