Looks like its gonna turn cold.

Agreed. Perhaps ESPN will use their monopoly status to be unafraid of the NFL in publishing more of these stories. Scary, scary stuff.

If you had to drive through Baltimore, you'd want an APC, too.

I would vacuum my entire house over unloading the dishwasher. Why do I hate it that much?

That would definitely make the story go away.

When I was in college, I had a long-distance relationship and video calling was not very good yet. Like watching scrambled porn.

Also, an admission that he does not own a computer or smartphone of any kind because THEY ALL COME WITH SKYPE PRELOADED ON THEM.

If only there was some news outlet, without any of that access, favor, or discretion.

For calling an entire website snarky, you sure use the words "douchebags" and "dickheads" a lot.

Are you aware of or appreciate the "Drunk Nate Silver" trend?

X-mas Ape? Is that you?

Something I never thought I'd say.

It's like Mark Sanchez. Just barely good enough that the thought of who would be replacing him is the only thing keeping him his job.

Every year we read about if the Chargers don't do X, Y, or Z, it will be Norv Turner's last go-around. They then fail to do X, Y, or Z, and he's back next year. I'm really starting to believe he has something on the GM.

I am glad someone is saying this. For some reason, cortisone, an ACTUAL steroid, has been given a pass over other, non-steroid PEDs for a long time. Semantics aside, is it that cortisone has been widely accepted and used for so long that it's the new, scary stuff that gets the vitriol directed at it?

You're dead on. I think it speaks to someone's insecurity when they go off hair-trigger like that. The other ways to handle it work out so much better, long term.

Is it just me, or does taking one's professional argument to twitter really reduce the argument to the 13-year-old girl level?

I'm impressed with the predictive quality of the preseason for this offense. After the first game, against the Bills, the conventional wisdom was that the preseason is just that, and that the offense was more than fine. Now, a quarter of the season in, and lo and behold, the offense sucks as hard as the preseason

Being as mediocre as I was in the NFL.
