something i’d like to see is term limits for aldermen. some of these folks stay in office for 20-30 years and are more interested in lining their and their crony’s pockets than improving the state of the city.
Wow, the new Mayor came through the door, swinging! This is going to be amazing to watch!
I wish her every success. I hope she remains strong cause these fools she’s coming for are gonna pull out every stop to take her down.
Look, I don’t care what Uber charges. In my city, cabs are as useless as tits on a bull, and about as pleasant to be inside of. Uber works, and it works well. It works because people sign up to drive. So please, pay them what is fair so they will keep doing it, even if you have to pass some of the cost on to me. If…
I think it’s really funny that everyone who parrots the “just get a new job or drive for someone else” don’t realize that an Uber and Lyft essentially simultaneously gutted the taxi, black car (livery), and other cab markets, while creating what is essentially a monopoly.

Anthony Weiner, is that you?

Most networks would have booted them off and got new show runners and Game of Thrones would have at least 2 more seasons. (It can’t go on forever. Actors would want to leave. And you don’t wanna…
It took me a while to understand this... I thought you said Keith Urban. His official name is “the guy from Dredd or Bones in Star Trek reboot”
This just proves to me that Mark Wahlberg has no concept of time. Or stares at walls blankly, which I imagine him doing a lot.
I have three thoughts on this:
I am convinced, although I have no proof, that the original version of Aliens I saw in the theatre in ‘86 had the drone gun scenes. Mostly because when it was first released on home video, I was like “where is that scene with the drone guns?”, and then when the quadrilogy DVDs came out with all the directors cuts, I…
