I think it’s primarily on the honor system, but I wouldn’t want to challenge it. Imagine if I drove 20k miles and had a claim. They would be totally within their rights to reject it.

Seriously?! Like, nobody else saw it? I check their website once a day!
I live in the UK.
Dammit Volks, where is my manual
Gee! Wonder if they’re beginning to regret throwing their baby out with the bathwater yet.
A certain Gawker corporate staff (who doens’t wear pants) may have just the right vehicle for the job.
Road rash did it first.
Why does the Golf R totally look like a Chevy Spark in this shot?
What this really means is those people with the poor foresight of springing for the slightly cheaper, but far less desirable model will face disproportionate depreciation, meaning EVEN cheaper mclarens for the rest of us in a few years time. hooray; cannot wait to pick up my four year old 540c in a 2019 for less than…
Why is it not blue
You're absolutely right. But hey, at least this exposed this flaw in the defense system without any loss of life and now we know.
Japanese Classics did the whole thing and they were amazing. When the time comes for an FD, I would give them a call. And FYI my Skyline was sold to me before they listed it for sale, so I suggest no matter what you do, you call around to importers before you see anything listed.
Yup, same as corvettes. So many people buy a Z Vette and then tell friends “It’s an investment” while it depreciates more and more and more.
Except if you only put it in the bank, you would still have $29,900. I think the bottom line is that if you’re ‘investing’ then cars are a poor choice.
But that said the only cars that will be worth more in 10 years after they are new are those that are super special edition and sold to people with money to blow. So the real answer is the limited run Ford GT
S660. In 25 years, some JDM fanatic will pay 40k for one, just like that AZ-1 that was on eBay Motors last year.
Nah. Maybe in 30-40 years they will be looked back on as nostalgia pieces but for 10 years? They’ll crash to abotu 1/3 their current price or less. Look at the Focus SVT or SRT-4 or older GTIs that aren’t Mk1s.
I love this car but I disagree. Will it keep value better than a Regular C7 or even a Z06? Probably, but it’ll still fall and only maybe rise over it’s MSRP in 25+ years. Even the first gens have fallen to the low 20’s and haven’t started rising yet..
4c, especially if Alfa doesn’t stick around in the US for long.
Ford GT.
