I guess we're not considering SAAB revived under NEVS then?

Well hopefully the Dodge Viper Racing Team will become as committed as the Corvette Team has when it comes to returning to Le Mans and competing in the TUSCC and other racing series.

SRT's return was short lived, and I hope they're here to stay around longer.

Take that to heart, NASCAR.

Yeah it was a fun car. :-) Like you said, C&D was able to get a 5.5 second 0-60 time and some owners were able to get these things to hit 13.6 in the 1/4 bone stock on stock tires.

It also had other cool features like no lift shift, and a programmable performance display as a $495 option over the stock boost gauge on

Thanks for sharing!

Did not know that! That's good to know.

Right, just as it isn't any different when comparing the Viper ACR-X to the Corvette ZR1. I get it, I just don't really consider them "fair" comparisons and I never will.

Did they? I only read the Jalopnik article saying that the Seat Leon Cupra 280 did that bone stock. I didn't read anywhere that Seat achieved that time by doing the same modifications (removing rear seat AC, radio, using different spec tires, etc) If they did then I stand corrected but I was under the assumption that

Well they both have Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires so its fairer I would say. But c'mon comparing one car bone stock with all the bells and whistles to another that has a rear seat, AC, and entertainment systems removed doesn't put these cars on the same playing field. Good on Renault for offering it when other

Well it's not exactly a fair comparison when comparing the Trophy RS to other cars that aren't stripped out. Especially when only 250 are made compared to the others that are mass produced.

The Trophy-R is an even lighter and more track-focused version of the 275 horsepower Megane RS, weighing in at just over 2,800 pounds. It's definitely more hardcore than the Seat was, ditching the standard Trophy's rear seat, air conditioning, infotainment system and other non-essentials for a titanium exhaust,

The sad thing in all of this is that the only "winners" in this situation end up being the lawyers....

Ditto. Although it's cool to see the pack of Corvette cop cars leading the colossal wave of police cars from Oakland County when they start dispersing everyone on Saturday night.....

You need to drive your car underneath the trailer of a semi-truck.....

And the SS Turbo was even better. A 2008 Cobalt SS Turbocharged had a quicker lap time in C&D's 2008 Lightning Lap than a Mustang GT.

Steeda's not the only one saying this. A couple sources of mine that work for suppliers have told me the same thing. That Ford was intending on having the new '15 Mustang lose weight, but instead it actually gained 200-300 lbs. I've known this since before the '15 Mustang even debuted and before any shots of it were

At least the uncontrolled boat was going in circles.

When the price of that bike drops down from $38k to about $15k I'll be interested.

Really? I didn't know that driving a Volt to and from work every day of the week without using any gasoline or very little = "barely better than comparable gas powered cars"

Also the reason why GM killed the EV1 was because of how expensive the technology was at the time and gas prices were low in the early 90s.
