Real men buy Se7ens regardless of their marital status.
@Ash78, Keyser Soze: I meant that I was the one who's been scarce, my friend.
@Ash78, Keyser Soze: Ash, it's been a while. Were you the Keyser Soze I tried to ban a few months ago?
@$kaycog: I think it's all relative. If I had the means, I'd spend gazillions on the right car.
Thumper's Corollary.
@Al Navarro: The Google shows that it was called "Matchbox Motorway".
First that had actual "racing" involved?
@iFodder650: I invoke Thumper's corollary.
After over twenty years of car ownership (including for a few years, a Caterham Superlight), I finally broke down and bought a deutsche-bag-mobile. A used e60 530xi that's my daily driver. I love it. And it even runs Sam's favorite colors: Black over tan.
@pauljones: Been busy. Good to see you, Ash, and few others keeping the faith and maintaing a standard of excellence for the new guard.
Twitter: Never.
@headhot: I've found that it really depends on location...whatever the majority of guys are running at your local shop is what is "hot". Popularity helps with parts availability/support...although it could be the other way around.
For the new kids:
The problem with this car (and all of the 365/400/412 iterations) is that when it comes time to replace the water pump, it is a full engine/tranny out deal. So the buyer should reserve about $8000 for that.
@tempesjo: Funny shit, tempesjo.
Funny shit, Hardigree.
@Clown Shoe Pilot: CSP! Long time no see (on my end). I think I starred you way back in the day (last summer).
