@pauljones: I don't know why they don't sell more of them. It's really the ultimate in pure driving machinery. Anyone who calls themselves an enthusiast should own one or aspire to own one or have owned one. While it has its limitations, performance really isn't one of them. #caterham

Fortunately, you still have me among the commentariat to provide the sales pitch.

I never used to keep cars over 80k. Now I have had our 2003 Honda Pilot from new to 180k ish. It's almost time for another timing belt/water pump change.... #qotd

@Al Navarro: Damn, I may be the oldest semi-regular commenter currently commenting. #qotd

1969 911s, 1969 Alfa Spider, 1969 Ferrari 365 GTC #qotd

That looks like the inside of the Biltmore (Vanderbilt estate) in Ashville, NC. #duesenberg

This is going to seem like blasphemy from me, but I'll say Caterham Levante. It's too damn gaudy and pricey, IMHO. #qotd

@BigHarv: How'd you know it was me? (But yes, it was. I remember that amazing post you had earlier this year. I forget what it was exactly, perhaps about your grandmother's car? Regardless, it was amazing.) BTW, I'm trying to re-star the denatured stars as I can. #porsche

Klein did a similar ad years later. But better. And without a moustache. It's that whole "priorities" thing. #porsche

@Ben Wojdyla: It's more like, for every $40 fill I put into the 5, I like to have a $20 fill in our other DD to average things out... FWIW, on the highway, the 5 gets amazing mileage. But on the the back roads of my commute, not so much....

I just bought a CPO 530 xi over a VW CC and Audi A3/4/5. Love it.
