You see zis fine example of Aryan breeding? You will never have sis becuaze you ordered ze wimpy Englizh verzion of za Mini!

What is the car in the header pic? I love the looks of it.

There are two kinds of auto aficionados.

I only have one thing to say. Better wood than plastic.

I agree.

If they want an Alpha chassis but smaller than maybe they shouldn't have killed off the Solstice. It's chassis was designed to be like the Alpha but smaller.

I think your uncle and I consider what is better in a different manner than you. Do the BRZ and S2000 have better performance? Yes. But are they as quirky? Hell no.

Look I love Jalopnik. Educational, informative, and occasionally entertaining. But could the blog posters bother to read through their posts one or two times after doing their spellcheck? Make sure sentences flow good, no words are missed, and like things? This is really starting to become a problem.

The only structural downsides I've ever really seen in Wankels is not enough seals (like a two ring seal in a race engine versus a three ring seal in road engine), not a high enough polish on the interior, and a shortened stroke resulting in reduced torque.

What are you smoking DasWauto and can I get it for cheap?

F1 cars in the past two seasons have been speed limited by a highest permissible engine speed (a FIA regulation) and by the gear box. All F1 cars are typically tuned to top out at the end of the longest straight. KERS will not in anyway increase the top speed above that. KERS will help you reach your top speed

I imagine that if they switch to a turbo recovery system that it'll involve a clutch connected flywheel or motor. Either one could be used to improve acceleration helping the turbine come up to speed or increasing boost like Indy cars.

But it is powerful enough to allow for a pass in a corner or to block DRS from being useful.

In the previous season tires lasted between 10 (for super softs) and 35 (for hard) on average. Most races of that season only had two or three pits per car per race. This year the number of pit stops have increased up to four but beyond that you're looking at repairs and not tire changes being the motivator behind

Is Push to Pass a nitrous solution or more of a boost by a flywheel or electric motor? Because F1 not only uses DRS which even when used doesn't always work as a result of F1 also using KERS which is a boost (they can hold about 2x the allowable boost duration @80HP allowing for a full amount of boost every new lap)

You complain about lack of passing and then declare that you hate DRS? Do you hate your seat being able to move because it improves your comfort too?

When's the last time you watched an F1 race and didn't know who was going to win until they actually crossed the line? I can't.

People complain about the lack of passing in Formula One. People complain about how NASCAR drivers only turn left. So what if there was a race series that had a ton of passing and turned left and right? Well, there is. It's called IndyCar, and you need to start watching now.

I can't say I agree with Ed's opinion editorial.

An anti-belieber would just post that he died from a bra to the head.
